I don't know if there would have actually been an October/November Revolution in Russia in late 1917 without Lenin's single-handed level of determination to achieve it, though.

It's equally possibly that without him there wouldn't have been a failed February(march) revolution and instead a successful revolution in July.
The point isn't that his death/disappearance wouldn't cause butterflies, but that there were a bunch of other people around who could and would take his place if he wasn't there.

Or whether the Reds would have actually still won the subsequent civil war in Russia in a scenario where this revolution still occurs.

That's possible.
