Eh, I just think Hitler's worse both because of what he intended to do (Generalplan Ost etc) and because he actually killed more people than Stalin. Doesn't make Stalin any less an evil bastard but it does make his victory in ww2 more tolerable.

I can get that kind of argument, and that's not what upsets me. But I've seen this argument become more of a "if you don't think X was worse that makes you a closet X!" thing, which is where my annoyance springs from.

Not really sure I fit w/ the overall political beliefs that caused this site to be made but I only rarely get into arguments w/ people so I doubt it'll be an issue. Hope good stuff comes from all this and we'll look back on naysayers and just laugh.

As a general note, this forum is open to anyone to view and make up their own minds, the best thing you can do is find your own conclusions for good or ill. If somebody coming in wanted to know what several people are really like, ask them, read their threads, let them tell you what they really think.

Conspiracies thrive on supposition and speculation and die when the truth turns out to be far more boring and mundane. If you are curious about the situation then find your answers here for yourself. You probably won't get on with everyone here, but I hope you will have enough to make a judgement for yourself.

It's got giant robots with giant guns and giant missiles running around shooting at each other. But unlike other franchises that also have giant robots, this one has combined arms warfare, gritty political intrigue, and a cast of professional soldiers and nobles (who are at least sometimes also soldiers), as opposed to the norm of some droppout high school loser getting tossed into the cockpit and saving the day because of love and friendship or something.

I would emphasize that anyone, of any political beliefs, can join. We are really excited to see our community grow. Our only principle is to be tolerant of divergent beliefs, and to speak freely about disparate subjects, as it was in the old days on the internet. So we are against SJW-ism, but not against leftism as such. Many leftists who have found themselves the victims of new-think may even find a true home and true friendships here, and I would be very happy for that!

It means you can hold whatever beliefs you want but if you come here and take action to try and take down the platform because it's your holy duty to deny all wrongthinkers anything because you hate that people you dont like are having fun then you probably arent gonna have a long stay here. Generally if you don't believe people should be in prison for having different thoughts and opinions from your own you will probably fit in well.

Yeah, it's something of a generic term. I would just refer to it as the thought police types who demand total conformity to what they think is right and demand the censoring and expulsion of anyone who doesn't stick to such conformity.
