Eh, it doesn't really matter if that in particular was true; this still wasn't a good course for the school to take if they wanted to push some kind of anti-birth-gender-segregation policy. And given their last proposal up for consideration was to flat out enforce 'you can only use facilities of your assigned gender at birth,' I doubt that was what they wanted anyway.
The half measures the school took doesn't resolve any of the issues anyone had. Its a compromise that both sides dislike, where you basically tell both sides that not only do neither of them get what they want, life will be actively more inconvenient for both of them.
Trans students still want to use the bathroom of their gender identity. Meanwhile, students of both genders are inconvenienced by the closing of changing stalls, and male students are inconvenienced by the closing of urinals. Nobody is actually made happy by this change, and its blatantly obvious.
Meanwhile the originator of the compromise literally stated it wasn't about the gender issue:
"'My proposed solution took care of a myriad of other issues that the school district is experiencing,' he said, 'so instead of fighting the gender fight, I decided to fight the larger fight.' "
And given his compromise makes no sense in light of the issue, I'm inclined to take what he says about that at face value. They probably never considered the fact that this policy would negatively impact students enough to cause a protest.

Most men won't use womens restrooms except in an emergency while women can use mens restrooms without getting hassled.
For as much as we men get called out by women for being gross dirty brutes mens public restrooms are usually much cleaner and have shorter lines than womens public restrooms. Men who just need to pee and don't need to shit will also usually let a woman who wants to use a mens room cut the queue because she needs a stall and he doesn't.
A woman can ensconce herself in a mens restroom stall and do her business with the same - if not more - privacy than she'd get when using a womens public restroom because we sane and normal men just want to do our business and quickly get out of there without talking to anyone.

Urinals being shut down won't stop people from vaping. They will just go into the bathrooms ans stand around and vape. Not even use the stalls.
Or depending on the vape, do it in the classrooms. Or outside. Or during lunch

You are an idiot. You probably are a secret tranny yourself or are a fetishest who likes them. You are trying to deflect the issue this has nothing to do with vaping. Removing urinals will not affect vaping when urinals were there people were valing not in front of the fucking urinal but in the restroom “lobby” where the sinks are. That’s also where people waited if all the toilets and urinals were full. They did not wait outside in a line to go to the restroom. They were waiting right there in the bathroom and they will keep vaping right there.

It doesn't really matter if it will work or not. If a group of people with little to no applicable knowledge are voting on solutions for things, at least 50% of there solutions are going to be at best unproductive.
I believe its about vaping because the creator of the compromise implies as much, and the ban makes more sense as a really stupid and out of touch attempt by old men to stop middle schoolers from vaping than it does as some sort of compromise about gendered bathrooms.
Only a fool is offended when no offense was meant.
Incontinences? I mean, yeah, not being able to use the restroom will probably result in some unfortunate scenarios. Kinda, confused, though; I don't support the action the school took, in fact it was the stupidest action they could've possibly taken, so I'm not really sure what you're offended about.

Shit sorry autocorrect got me. Incontinence lol I meant inconvenience. Anyway the reason I think it's some tranny shit is because I've seen a school do the same thing remove the urinals in the men's room then change the men's room to the "all gender room" That's why I am annoyed by this stuff.

I work as a security contractor for a horrible woke international corporation. I've absolutely thought about doing the same a few time.
They tried to write up one of my guards for calling a woman a "she" when discussing getting her a temporary security badge. Apparently she goes by "they/them", and I manage to shove HRs face in the fact that her pronoun preferences weren't listed anywhere in our database, nor did she "correct" the guard at the time.
This insanity is getting ridiculous, and these nuts wonder why intolerance is reaching new levels?

On that note this video's been getting traction, as a trans person has a profanity-laden rant about how pronouns are ruining the movement and she... he? is now a conservative because he doesn't accept people calling themselves "They/them" much less things like Treeself and Frogself. Also, he notes that only a trans person is allowed to say it and anybody else would be shouted down as phobic for voicing the truth.

Most "trans" and Alphabet Soupers today are either jumping on a bandwagon because it's trendy/a subculture, genuinely mentally ill (as in schizophrenia, et cetera), or are using the "gay/trans card" to get stuff they want (which includes trying to cancel people they don't like).
The treatments developed for people with actual gender dysphoria (and I don't mean the various diagnoses being thrown around like party favours by medical "professionals" now for every little fucking thing, I mean when the diagnosis itself was taken seriously and not as a cash grab) to genuinely help them are being horribly abused -- dumb kids and teenagers, who would've been goths, or emos, or punks, or skater kids et cetera ten, twenty years ago are being irrecoverably fucking mutilated and mutated.
People with true gender dysphoria/trans people (such as our former owner -- I hope she's doing well wherever she is) are horrified by this bandwagon shit. I've seen them openly say this on various platforms, such as YouTube. They just want to live their lives like anyone else, and this is putting bullseyes on them by association because people think trans-trenders = transgender now.
Interestingly, a few people, which includes people who used to call themselves such, have been saying that women (and to a smaller extent men) who say they're "gender fluid" or "non-binary" (outside of the dumb kids, teens, and attention-seekers of course) do so because they received unwanted attention or trauma, and they're minimizing/distancing themselves from their sexual characteristics as a defensive reaction/way to avoid said trauma/issues.
It kinda makes sense.
