Here are two channels I've been randomly binging because they have been flooding my recommendation list... or perhaps vice versa...

So far it's just a lot of opinionated analysis of starships... which is enough for me to love the content. Plus the short videos are quite short. So far I've been watching lots of their Top 5 lists of various starship classes and the like but I'm sure I'll be branching out soon enough. Plus the channels content is literally right up this forums alley.

TierZoo is an educational channel that has very funny and short educational videos on the animal kingdom and treats its video subjects as if we're all part of some sort of MMORPG. The topics are almost always extremely interesting, very witty and funny and easy to get lost in watching one sub-ten minute long video after another. It's a good thing we chose the best species in the game.

Anyone check out this channel yet? It's 40K themed but I've only really seen his Versus vdeos and I also find his personality amusing as well. Plenty of off color humor. Can't speak to any of his terrain/painting tutorial videos.

This one is for @prinCZess -- Kazaki dancing in a park...
I still have an indescribably affection for that song, even having only a sliver of any kind of translation or meaning in my head when I hear it. Something about the cadence is just very catchy.

As for my own recommendations:
Edutainment on guns with a friendly, grandfatherly dude:

Has a new one today covering and shooting US handguns since ~1776, which seems a fascinating topic.

EduENTertainment on guns with that crazy shit you went to High School with:

Dude starts off his videos with sketches, and most of them appeal to my sense of humor. Then his videos have a tendency for the dramatic/ridiculous/amusing. How many LEGOs different bullets can go through, how many fire extinguishers bullets will go through, melting a Hi-Point pistol, dragging a Hi-Point behind a truck, running a Hi-Point over with a truck, shooting a Hi-Point... him and a buddy shooting each other with tazers and whatnot...Just general boneheaded stupidity with guns, and while it's nowhere approaching scientific or objective, it's a hoot to watch.

More educationally, Indy Neidell makes for a good narrator-replacement for the procession of British-accented men who used to do voiceover work for the History Channel back in the day when they actually covered history...Well, when they covered WW2, the Nazis, and late at night had all the Nazi Conspiracy shows come on.
I digress.

World War 2 is the successor to the Great War that covered things week-by-week over the last years, and both of those are worth watching if you're a history buff. A whole mess of related channels and subject-matter that's of interest to folks as well.

Somewhat even more British, and more varied in its content than Indy Neidel is Lindybeige. Somewhat of a wide range of topics, though I came into him watching a video on fortifications and cannons/artillery in the 1700-1800 era that was fascinating.

@prinCZess this is another one you might like; continuing that my "youtubes" contribution will be videos of people who swords, here's a song which is shared between Poland, Lietuva, Byelorussia, the Ukraine, and Russia, being used to set the tone of a three-way choreographed sword duel between a set of absolutely handsome gentlemen of the steppe.

If you want to relax and marvel at someone's ingenuity, then kiwami japan might be your guy:

He makes all sorts of things from various materials, with his knife-creation videos being some of the most well-known.

Comic series about a mcdojo

A McDojo led by a McBadass.

Hundred ways to attack the groin.

I love that unrequited love between that shy bookish girl and the convict.... especially when learning the 'Thrust of Freedom.' :sneaky:

Ok, this one is regional, but should be utterly fascinating to anyone with an interest in geology.

Nick Zentner is a professor of geology at Central Washington University, and he has a series of hour-long videos where he explains PNW geology to a crowded lecture hall. And if you love geology, the Pacific Northwest is where you want to be. We have some of the world's most majestic river canyons, cut by the rivers as the land raised around them. We have state-spanning lava flows and the etchings of cataclysmic floods. There's just so much to study, and Nick does a great job of putting all together for your enjoyment.

This one right here is my absolute favorite.

And here, Nick explains how it was recently possible to walk across the Columbia river.

You know, I didn't think TierZoo would be all that great, but I decided to give it a try. And immediately got sucked into three more videos. It's pretty good stuff.
