The War in Afghanistan

He is enlisted.
He can do that and get away with it easier then an officer...
Just realized this was probably referring to the soldier in the vid I posted near the end of the last page.

I mean yeah, maybe under normal circumstances, but the current established leadership has demonstrated a willingness to change its rules (or how they're applied) on the dime for blatantly partisan reasons and an abject inability to take even mild & completely justified criticism from the formerly most fawning members of their pet media without lashing out through other pet outlets, spinning harder than a tornado, bald-facedly lying or some combination of all of the above. I absolutely don't believe it's unreasonable to think that they'll try to make an example out of this dude and anyone else inspired by Scheller's example until they've completely erased the latter.

Enlisted and officers have diffrent rules.
You won't get kicked out as an enlisted.
You will get punished but not as bad or anything

Well, I certainly hope that'll be the case - and so would the enlisted man in question, I'd imagine, unless he's still in absolute-sincerity 'fuck everything, I hope it all burns down' mode. But as I've said before, considering how completely feckless and unprincipled the Harris-Biden administration has been this whole time, I really wouldn't be surprised if in a month or two someone posts an article on this site revealing that he (and any other soldiers who might post themselves spouting similar sentiments on social media) got treated way more harshly than that butch-looking Bronson woman who was all but begging for an opportunity to start wasting American citizens for wrongthink. We'll see how it all shakes out I guess, but I can't say I'm optimistic as to his fate.

If they are treated unfairly, anyone can make an IG claim, and get those that did, taken down like what happened with those in charge at Hood

>Pull out
>give no warning to allies
>have to make a evacuation after the puppet government collapses
>said collapse was coming, but you ignored anyone who said so
>free a bunch of ISIS prisioners without any screening
>they use the chaos to attack
>blame the ally you told nothing about the evacuation when the bomber kills people

Amazing shit. Just insane levels of shitshow.

So you want then to push out, potentially making things worse for many others, to save people who should have left earlier?
More Americans should die for those that decided to not pay attention to what was going on?
Do I feel bad for those left? Holy hell yes.
Do I wish we got them? Yes.
Do I want us to get more troops killed just to save those who were not paying attention? Potentially keeping us there? No
So you're just not going to address the fact that they should have never followed the order to immediately and haphazardly withdraw, abandoning American citizens in the process; not to mention the whole "murdering children" part, huh? I see how it is; at this point, if our military opened fire on a crowd of unarmed American citizens on American soil, I suspect you'd still be here trying to white-knight for them.

You act as if the military are a class above the rest of America; you've got your own rules, your own laws, and none of us lesser beings have any right to criticize or even question you. Maybe you should stop and consider the fact that you're supposed to be fighting for us, the very American people you so clearly look down upon, not against us. At the very least, maybe we should reconsider paying your salary.

If it wasn't for people like Scheller, people like you would make me think the entire military is a lost cause.

Again, they've been there for 20 years. How much longer did you want to stay? The withdrawal now was delayed from a planned date in May by the Trump administration.

Trump had the whole withdrawal planned out, meticulously and with care.

Biden-Harris-Pelosi (I really don't know whose actually running the show) admin decides they want to spite Trump and drops the well made plan for this steaming pile of bullshit.

And because of this, US soldiers died, some poor Afghans got blown to shreds by high tech drones, and the admin proceeds to blame everything on Trump.

US military's rep is going to take a hit. Because the military (at least in most countries) is an extension of the government and in the US's case the executor of their foreign policy.

Why in the fuck will these morons not shut off access to their fucking apps to terrorists?! Are they really that misguided? That stupid? That arrogant?

... Yes. Yes they are.

Well, you see, the real danger are white supremisists, so those are the people who censors need to keep eyes and ban hammers working on.

Events over the coarse of the past month has not made me think "damn, we need some of that in our military" whenever I think about the ANA. Then again, that might not be the point, sure they're demonstratively ineffective, but on the other hand, they'll be fanatically loyal to anyone who rescued them from getting killed by the victorious Taliban as enemy collaborators, at least so long as there's an implied threat that disloyalty will get them sent back. They'd make a fantastic varangian guard for defending the British political classes against the British plebeians.

Maybe start with small steps, like not leaving a bunch of service dogs behind for the Afghans.

Apparently this account got banned. Anyone have a screenshot? Should probably do screenshots instead of linking for this stuff since the Twitter Nazis will probably be running cover for Biden.

To be fair, the commandos did fight, unlike much of the ANA, but forming a regiment out of them would be foolish, Gurkhas are still a regiment because they can be recruited from the tribe that holds true to its tradition, who could this regiment recruit to keep up the strength? Rapefugees getting fat on the all the forms of social support?
