The War in Afghanistan

So Biden has said we arnt leaving till every American is out, by 9/11 hopefully.

I feel like some of our enemies are getting ready for something though. Using this as a push against us.

I finally managed to find enough sources to verify news for my article:
But yes, Panjshir is forming / has formed resistance against the Taliban. Prospects aren't all that bright though, as the province is basically isolated, and most of the allies cannot be relied on to supply them.

This poor son of a bitch was clinging to the evacuation plane before tumbling into a freefall.

Too late. Do that and they'll die and you'll get them all. Black hawk down, Iranian embassy hostage crisis and the Bosnian Serb UN peacekeeper hostage crisis combined.

We'll see how long this lasts, and what sort of diplo clusterfuck ends up evolving from it.

Largely because it's fake; the claims came from a single Russian website and got picked up by Indian media for nationalist reasons. Dostum is in exile in Uzbekistan and Panjshir's entire population is 173,000 so unless they have Kamino hidden inside, there is now ay 10,000 soldiers popped up out of nowhere. Sellah and Massoud both are already trying to cut a deal with the Taliban.

Slightly happier story...

It's just Humvees and MRAP's and ScanEagles and American helicopters that require spare parts to keep working. And loads of small arms. The night vision goggles, potentially upwards of sixteen thousand of them, could be quite problematic but only for any ensuing conflict the Taliban might be engaged in. Not like new tech falling into the hands of China or some such.

EXACTLY!
Plus the US Military is moving away form Night vision to our new night vision which is better and doesn't require lasers
