The War in Afghanistan

if it's of any condolances I think I saw an artlce on CNN where they were questioning his competence. So it's possible even his close allies are turning on him. The bad thing about that is he's not even been president for a year. how bad are things going to be by the end of next year?
By 2024, the events of this year that might negatively reflect on Joe Biden (or Kamala Harris if she runs) will seem more ancient and obscure than the building of Gobekli Tepe in the minds of most American voters.

Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
They are going to try to blame it on Trump, which is the height of absurdities because he may be the only guy in DC with serious power for the last few decades who doesn’t deserve any blame here, but the left are just going to start up their “Orange Man Bad” narratives and their base will eat it up like they do for all of the propaganda put in front of them.

Look at our sister sites, they are already pointing fingers at Trump.

I am, however, feeling a little bit hopeful that more moderate and open minded Americans might put the blame on Biden, his administration, and the countless shills taking up for him.
Trump did not fuck up the withdrawal. Biden did. Do they want a desert Tet offensive or do they want them out?

2022 is when the boomer masses start retiring in mass and the great credit crunch starts.

and thats structurally baked into the system, the era of cheap credit and easy money is done. You have a mass of boomers who haven't saved for retirement or had their retirements deep fucked during the past few recessions and they are going to take money out of the stock market to pay for their retirements.

2020 looks more and more like a poisoned chalice.

The US State Department is issuing Hopes that the Taliban will offer inclusive negotiations and create an inclusive and representative government.

Also... meanwhile in Herat in Western Iran... someone is back to smashing statues!

Likely suspect is the Taliban but it could be some splinter group or even ISIS-K, the branch of the Islamic State running around inside Afghanistan.

Fuck. There's still Americans left behind that aren't military and other foreign allies. Is this grounds for impeachment? This is a gigantic clusterfuck.

Somewhere in the range of anywhere from 5,000 to 15,000, I keep hearing different numberts, IE they have no fucking idea how many or where even.

And no, the Admin is already saying they can't and won't guarantee their safety to evac in Kabul, or if they'll even have troops stay until they're all evacuated.

But don't worry! Hidin' Biden is back early from his vacation at Camp David, his aircraft arrived earlier tonight back in DC so he can go back to doing....well, staring like a deer caught in the headlights I guess.

Yeah, I don't care at this point if that twat Harris gets sworn in, let her fall on her own incompetence if it comes to that, it's 25th Amendment time.

Wholly independent of any impeachment/removal issue or objection or anything else around the Presidency...
I'd like to add that forced resignations at the least, potentially court-martials at the other end of things, should definitely be on the table for numerous Pentagon/CENTCOM/military officials responsible for the cluster and State Department and/or Department of Defense officials...Probably others.

Also, the northern alliance is back to fight the Taliban
Pretty much all of the former NA controlled territory has been taken, most of it before the main offensive, all that is left is Panshir Valley, which while good defensive terrain, is cut off from resupply and could field only few thousand men, so I don't have exactly high hope for them.

Does the State Department have the affirmative quota for sub 80 IQ morons?

Just impeach them all. They're sleeping on the job and bring back Trump to manage it.
