The Americas The Tyranny of Trudeau's Canada

I drove down to the Black Hills with my dad last year, and one thing I couldn't help but notice were all the patches of prairie that had been burnt along the road thanks to idiots throwing their cigarette butts out of the window. While it is easy to hate on them, I'll note that you can't find a newer car that even has an ash tray, as if not providing them will somehow make people give up smoking. But I also wouldn't be surprised if there aren't literally RCMP officers out there starting fires or some shit, too.

May prairies are supposed to catch fire. The problem is ignorant greenies suppressing the natural fires until fuel builds up to the point that the fire will overcome the natural defenses of trees, plants, and other wildlife that would normally be able to survive a wild fire.

I shudder at how a civil war within Canada would look like, given the large territories that have to be covered. It would basically be like Finland on steroids, only we're getting Super Size Me! Finland as a perfect analogue.

The left would always use the moral angle as a cudgel to beat their opponents, so the best way to counter it would be to not play the moral angle, but striking back. Heck, I'd love to see the globalist left get the Odessa Trade Union treatment in Canada.
There's no way that there will be a full-scale civil war in Canada.

I'm assuming you've heard about the wildfires from last week ?

This is also the case with our forests. The wildfires are so bad now because the green lobby's influenced our forest 'management' tactics to the point where they won't do the controlled burns which are necessary precisely to clear out brush & prevent the really bad fires. The First Nations practiced slash-and-burn agriculture, which fit neatly into this pattern, for thousands of years but of course that's the sort of 'indigenous knowledge and ways of knowing' which the postmodern left doesn't care to heed.

At this point I don't even believe it's a mistake, that would require me to assume the tiniest smidge of good intention still exists in the coal-black hearts of the Trudeau clan and their associates. Instead I'm fully on board the train with the people who believe this to be entirely intentional as part of a broader push to spin up climate hysteria and get climate lockdowns going. There's also a chance that at least some of the wildfires were purposely set by arsonists, BTW.

So...

Basically, another reason to take the word of conservationists who personally maintain the land and wildlife they care about over that of Lefty environmentalists? Honestly, that's increasingly the sense I get, whether we're talking Canada or elsewhere.

Maybe not on the "short-term" timescales people think of (such as the next 5 to 10 years), but I'd hesitate to say a Canadian Civil War will never happen. After all, just because the conditions for one aren't severe enough right now doesn't mean they won't devolve way further by, say, 2053.

The arsonist in question:

i think that there's a very good argument that the job of the conservationist is to protect the environment from the environmentalists.

I can certainly buy that idea.

Yeah, well…

They could stand to do a way better job of keeping the Greens at bay, starting yesterday.

Besides that, I think it’d be a step forward if the arsonists who might’ve set fire to these forests were caught, convicted, and maybe even sued for everything they have to recompense the actual victims, too. In general, I find the justice system doesn’t place nearly enough emphasis on compensating victims — among whom I’d count all the people who lost their homes and possibly gotten lung cancer from breathing in too many fumes. :(

Again, war and politics create strange bedfellows.
The Crusade no one saw coming :p
it would be the height of hilarity if the lgbt crowd got the Abrahamic faiths to unite under one banner I wonder if stuff like this happens more and more often if the differing sects and denominations will start to cross pollinate ideas and spawn some kind of weird new fourth(fifth do Mormons count as the fourth?) abrahamic faith maybe we are due some new super charming and charismatic prophet
Maybe not an entirely separate religion but I could see several new denominations being spawned especially from the Christian groups getting fed up with the more organized denominations rolling over for this over and over again and maybe not taking scripture from the Muslims but ways of thought and organizing kinda like how the medieval church had a lot of influence from Aristotle and Plato but subsumed it into a Christian world view. If you get enough groups of parents fighting this stuff over time cultural exchange is probably going to happen.
I would actually say that we would have a better chance of having an entirely new religious movement that is influenced by both Christian and Muslim creeds, although it would be more of an ideological movement than a religious one, given that Islam does not tolerate apostasy. Similar to Mughal Emperor Akbar's attempt at inter faith dialog.
No no new religions. Also no Mormons aren’t Christian or even Abrahamic Mormons are polytheists. Alliance with Muslims is fine because there are worse threats out there, we stay out of each others internal affairs and protect each other when another group like secularists attack one of us. Something like that would be possible.
Unlikely. It applies to religion as well.
That said, Trudeau being directly responsible for the creation of the Orange Catholic Bible somehow manages to be an every stupider prequel canonicity than anything Brian Herbert wrote.

Trudeau can't keep track of what the current acronym is.

It's not as surprising as it sounds, since they just changed it dramatically as used in this Trudeau tweet:

Funny, but a couple years old now (Fall 2021), so I suspect it's somehow gotten worse since then.

Having said that: I have to wonder what Trudeau probably thinks behind closed doors? Probably still a Lefty Globalist who's mostly on board with the larger agenda, but probably rolling his eyes at all the weird crap the even more zealous foot-soldiers are coming out with every so often.

of course wokepedia says its real.

For over 50 years the vast majority of psychologists and neurologists have been saying that anyone who claims to have multiple personalities is faking it. Usually for a attention, sometimes to escape legal repercussions for their actions.

But with the woke inquisition in charge, we are moving away from actual science and into the realm of religious (woke) pseudoscience. So it is making a comeback
