Just saw that the Walton family, of Walmart fame, are entering into a purchase agreement for the Broncos.

Really hope they do not bring Walmart-like ideas about 'value' to the team, and mostly hands off.

Had no idea you're a fan of the Denver Broncos?

On-again off-again football watcher. But I gotta say I would like to see the Patriots stomped so hard as to not make it into the playoffs at all--as unlikely as that probably is.

Count myself as a Seahawks fan for life, but I worry they're returning to old-form of 'only maybe make the playoffs and then burn-out harder than a jet engine'. 'My' team's depressingly predictable like that, sometimes. Occasionally they rally halfway through, but usually it's too late by then. Suppose I can just cross my fingers and hope for good things from the start rather than needing a mid-season rally/readjustment.
Would kind of like to see a good showing from the Chiefs. As a casual fan, their success last year looked like it came out of nowhere, and I always have a soft-spot for resurgence stories like that...Kind of have to love those kinds of stories as a Seahawk, otherwise you might just go nuts.
I'm a lifelong fan of the Seattle Seahawks too 😃

I mean, they basically blackballed Kapernick, although I hear that he might be trying out for a team.
An NFL career is, on average, a little over 3yrs and 3mo. You have to be a very large and athletic guy just to be considered for an NFL backup spot. You are also disposable because there are several someone elses who want your job and can do it just as competently as you can waiting in the wings.

Looks Mayfield ends up playing somewhere else. Big question is where he'll up end?
A.) Seahawks (keeping fingers crossed)
B.) Titans (Tannehill is dragging them down)
C.) Panthers (Rhule is on the hot seat)
D.) Another team we haven't heard of
