Any thoughts on the Panthers getting Mayfield?
Good trade, Mayfield is an good Quarterback who was sadly stuck with the QB curse in Cleveland. I pray that he can do well in Carolina, and if he does, Cleveland will be kicking itself because Houston was realistically the best spot for that rapist, and now that he doesn't have any good weapons save Amari Cooper and David Njoku? He is screwed, He'll be running most of this season, mark my words.

Permaban is my guess.

The NFL has nothing to lose and evrrything to gain by saying "nope, you can't come back."
Ha, yeah they do have stuff to lose. Losing a big player means losing revenue. And he's too good to get blackballed. The only person officially banned permanently was Burfict, and that was for injuring players.

The guy plays again.

You're referring to Watson in Cleveland?

Yup, Watson is honestly overhyped, he didn't do jack shit, and that was with a honestly decent Houston team. TBH I can see Cleveland going 5-12 this season as they lost a few pieces that were pivotal to their continued growth.
Watson at least won a national championship with Clemson in 2016.

I'm happy for Mayfield, I hope the panthers stomp the browns on the opener this year.

I've been a browns fan my whole life, but the panthers have always been #2 and I feel like the browns did him dirty last season and then hired in a guy with a bunch of sex allegations to replace him. He wanted out and he deserved better. I hope he does well in North Carolina.

Back to the Cleveland classic. "we're rebuilding, there's always next year," before the season even starts.

Cleveland really is a factory of sadness.

I don't even want to root for the browns this year. I might switch to being a Bengals fan. At least keep it in ohio.

From Owner to Management to Coaching and Staff...the Browns are a big steaming pile of Losers.
Yep. They should not have let Baker play the last half of the season last year, no matter how bad he wanted to. They let him play with a broken shoulder and then ditched him.

A good leadership would have protected the athlete from themselves. Take him out and let him get surgery and get healed, instead of prolonging the injury and then ditching him.

But can he drag a half dead browns team with shitty management into the playoff's? He'd have to set numerable records WITH a 6 week ban (as that seems to be what the NFL will be doing with him)
We're gonna find out soon enough. Browns will be lucky to go (10-7) if they squeak into the playoffs in 2022

ooof. Well, there goes another piece in what could have been a chiefs dynasty. Chiefs might start showing more cracks, but this is likely one of the least damaging loses they've taken this offseason, though I do expect to see more sacks in the next season, that's for sure.

Wasn't he one of the offensive lineman that protected Mahomes' blindside?
