BREAKING NEWS: Fox Sports reporting New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels will become the Las Vegas Raiders Football Coach.

Any thoughts on this development ?

#4 Cincinnati Bengals (13-7) punched their ticket to the 2021 Super Bowl Championship.

Somewhere Nick Wright of FS1's "First Things First" will be grumpy tomorrow LOL.

BREAKING NEWS: Tampa Buccaneers QB Tom Brady retiring after 22 seasons (20 with New England Patriots & 2 with Tampa Buccaneers) including 7 Super Bowl Championships (New England: 2001, 2003, 2004, 2014, 2016, 2018 & Tampa: 2020).

Every time the 49ers and Cowboys have met in the playoffs the team that won went on to win the Super Bowl.
Well, now that's over.

But also, big news with the Rooney rule:

He's suing the NFL for racial discrimination, but some big news:

He alleges that the reason he got fired from the 'phins (because he was and is a good coach, his team in '19 was all time bad talent wise, you could watch his coaching stop the blowouts over the season) was because he tried to win games when the owner offered him a $100k bonus per game lost. That alone is goddamn massive.

He uses the NFL's woke posturing as evidence against them, which if this lawsuit goes anywhere, people are gonna be more careful about virtue signalling biting them in the ass.

And he knows, from a Bill Belichick text screw up (BB got told that Brian Duball got the job, but misread it as Brian Flores, and texted him a congrats before his interview), that he was subjected to a sham interview for the NYG job. I'm not sure if that counts, tbf, but then it might if he was only brought on because of the Rooney Rule.

Looks like the Rooney Rule could get dismantled soon.

Yeah, he might win because the Rooney rule!
With the US Supreme Court giving the greenlight in dismantling affirmative action, expect diversity in colleges & universities to be severely reduced (see ramifications of 1996 CA Proposition 209).

Interesting to see if HBCU's will take advantage of this by telling recruits "Do you want to go to the likes of Michigan, OH St, UCLA, Illinois or Texas ?"

Diversity is not the end all, be all of what colleges/universities are supposed to be about.

Particularly when the reason AA is under fire is because it was used to discriminate against Asian students.

With the remaining coaching vaccancies filled up (Mike McDaniel: Miami Dolphins; Lovie Smith: Houston Texans & Dennis Allen: New Orleans Saints), is it safe to say former Miami Dolphins Football Coach Brian Flores has been blackballed & declared persona non-grata by the 32 NFL owners ?

A.) YES

B.) NO

C.) TBD

Yeah, it's the Kaepernick effect. Say dumb shit and act like you're owed something based on your skin color and get fucked.

I dunno, the NFL being racist because only one of the 32 coaches (RIGHT NOW) is Black seems a bit off base. Back in 2017 SEVEN of the NFL Coaches were Black. 🤷‍♀️

Was there a sudden sweep of White Supremacy that flooded the NFL after Trump got into office? Well I mean... I'm sure 40% of the population believes that, but rational people? Maybe the individual franchises are being ignorant though from the details of the lawsuit.

Denny Green and Tony Dungy were successful Black Coaches thirty years ago. So it's not a new thing either.

I would say that the guy filing a lawsuit has more to do with it than race.

It's really hard to be hired by the NFL when you're suing the NFL for shady business.

He blackballed himself by naming every NFL team in his lawsuit.

EDIT: Not sure how I grabbed the wrong quote and didn't notice...needs more sleep, caffeine or both...
