United States The Left Can't Meme

I wonder though as well if there's a way to segregate criminals based on the severity of their crimes. A place where we can put Joe the crack dealer and another place, let's call it the hardcore prison, for Tom the murder-rapist.
hypothetically that is the difference between a low security prison and a high security prison. the jails for people who are only misdemeanor offences. the low sec for white color crime the high security/max security for those who do violent offences. in practice this has not born out. but that was the intent behind the system. I remember for a while MN had a system where if you fell into a certain category of sex offences that had a greater than 90% recidivism rate they institutionalized you after you served your time. they aren't allowed to do that any more but the criminals still have the recidivism.

Well... it seems the US prison system has given us a lot to talk about.

Have a few follow-up questions and comments for @Bear Ribs later, but sharing another meme I found:

HAHAHAHAHA!!! Every time I look at it, I just laugh more.

But I think maybe I get where they are coming from given the Auth-Right blue background? It's sorta like when Ben Shapiro says he has libertarian views. Maybe on like a single issue, but I doubt it. But then giving the person a Gadsden flag makes it stupid again, as they writer doesn't know the difference between Shapiro and a libertarian.

Not sure why this is a bad meme?

It's not, though I probably should've clarified that I thought this was a good meme.

Would be fine with everyone paying less taxes myself (including the super-rich), but multi-billion dollar corporations taking advantage of loopholes and offshore accounts rings true to me, and I can see why Average Joes don't like that.

Corporations shouldn't get taxed at all. All taxation should occur with the people that make up and own the corporation. All directly taxing corporations does is create a complex mess of double taxation that enriches accountants, lawyers, and politicians, and allow such people to hide and manipulate the very loopholes that get whined about.

Consider the famous Google tax evasion by funneling most of their income through Ireland. That's only possible because "Google's income" is getting taxed, and Google is a multinational corp that can shift funds around. The individual shareholders and employees have far less ability to shift income globally, and most certainly it's impossible for most of them to live in Ireland.

The irony is that the left typically rejects the idea of corporate personhood, yet demands higher taxing of corporate persons.

The Left being anti-business, and wanting to tax anyone and anything they can for as much as they can, is just the Left being the Left.
Remember Comrade, if you engage in any sort of economic activity, any profits you make from it belong to The People.

Not sure if true, but there it is.
Ever since President Bush nominated Biden in 2006 to serve a five-year term on the Amtrak board,
He is the sole Democrat on the seven-member panel, which has two vacancies.
Checks out. He was nominated by Bush in 2006, and appointed sometime prior to 2007.
