I should have expected that really
I'm honestly surprised Britain's nigh-invincible monster hasn't made the rounds yet, so I'll be the first.

The mighty Challenger II.

Despite our government's obsession with slashing the Army to death, the United Kingdom has come a long way from the Cromwell and Churchill, hasn't it?

The Royal Navy remains to this day the most important arm of the British Armed Forces, but until our warships can drive onto land, Britain will need boots on the ground. And this is where many an administration has fallen flat on its face in terms of defence.
Mind you the RN really hasn't been given the funding it needs either. The UK really needs to increase defense spending in general since the "peaceful" times the end of the Cold War brought are over

Sounds about right. Peace dividend has gone to their heads whilst parasitically leaching off the United States.

Could be an odd echo of Royal distaste for the New Model Army in the Restoration, but it's a stupid tradition that Britain needs to cast aside. Not having enough properly equipped boots on the ground has consistently buggered us over for centuries.
The US decided to throw money at everything, UK should do the same

Other countries (except arab petrol states) do not have the money to throw around, as they do not have the luck of their money being the world exchange currency and thus printing unlimited debt, without debasing currency.
Some focus their money in areas that do not help their people, like those countries that focus on helping out immigrants over their own people

Turret is superior in both defense and offense. Conducting a fighting retreat in turretless combat vehicle is a nightmare and the main reason why they were building casameted assault guns/tunk hunters in WWII is so that they could istall on the hull a gun that was beyond the limits of the turret ring.

Only reason not to build one with a turret is of its literal purpose is to form a line of tanks for an assault that can't be bypassed

I knew. But as far as they do not retreat, their 2 guns with autoloaders would gave them huge advantage.
P.S about WW2 - i always wondered, why Italian built so much M.13 and M.14 instead of M.18 or M.46 assault guns. They were mostly OK against british tanks, but once american M3 come,it was not funny.
