Why does anyone even like Tumblr/Twitter?

I think even the guys on SB/SV/QQ/AH and Reddit and Fandom wiki are actually likely to be more enthusiastic about the series

So example, all of the soundtracks but one is considered canon to the story, the one that is deemed not canon had a song removed form the show, because time constraints, but the fandumb decided to go and go after the man who cut it out, and the singer, daughter of the composer, had to go and basically say stop, and that the soundtrack is not canon, with backing from Miles and Kerry.
SO because a song about Bumblebeewas left out of the show... they attacked someone and got the whole soundtrack decanonized.

Now that you mention it, I vaguely remember the whole sordid debacle. Though after such bullshit, why they would entertain the whims of such idiots. I also honestly have to laugh, because it is so demented as to be amusing.

Miles and Kerry are not that bad of writers, and honestly I think the ideas of his they keep incorporating may be a thing holding the show back.
Miles and Keryy can do better of course, but they are not the worst

I actually like Miles' work on Red vs. Blue, so I know he at least has the ability to do better; but I just do not believe that they can do better with RWBY. Not at this late date. Part of the problem I think is that they have nobody around to tell them "no", and their egos have gotten out of control as a result. RWBY is less a show made for an audience, and more a vanity project.

TBF, they can look like the majority opinion and have taken over other forums in-relation to entertainment and a good portion of reddit

Combined with whatever rhetoric about how going "Politically Correct" and doing "Diversity" was the future and people finding it hard to see that things are different than what they've thought for possibly decades and being in a political-echochamber has an effect

No, they don't; I'm sorry, but nothing they've done with RWBY is anything I would call "good". The best Monty could manage was "mediocre", and the show has never managed to reach those heights since his death.

Eh, O often have differing opinions. To me some of the choices they have gone worh on vol 6 and 7 were decent. There are plenty of questionable ideas but to me they arnt that bad.

Reality may not be subjective, but our perception of it most certainly is. Ah well; it's not like you enjoying a show I despise, or vice versa, matters much in the long run. Still; I will caution you to be ready for disappointment. Some of the rumblings I've heard from Rooster Teeth, and parent company AT&T, makes me think their projects may not be long for this world. It's entirely possible that RWBY will be canceled either this season, or the next, and end up with a rushed ending at best.

I mean, HBO is going to be streaming the new season of Genloc, so it seems RT is getting bigger funding so, they may have to change things around.
I think they are trying to increase budget and get bigger names. Thier shows that are from the Austin studio may be put on hold while they focus on bigger projects or reestablish stuff.

No; Otter Media does, which is owned by WarnerMedia, which also owns Warner Bros. and is owned, in turn, by AT&T. Corporate structures are confusing. Long story short though, AT&T is looking to consolidate and cut the fat, and Rooster Teeth is having difficulty justifying their own existence:

So literally the first thing we see Yang do is gleefully sexually abuse someone before bullying those who try to stop her, who cant meaningfully fight back, and setting fire to the nightclub that they own and staff.

Since we are already talking about stuff from the lastest season, what's your opinion about the conflict between Team RWBY and Ironwood? I believe the team was extremely hypocritical and using Ironwood for resources and training while denying him critical information up to the point where things could do no other than spiral out of control.

And yet the narrative treats him as the villain.

I think Team RWBY is being stupid about the situation. Ironwood did nothing wrong.
