Seeing as how we dont have one if these that I could find I decided to make this.

Mainly sparked by a sister sites that is arguing over how a small change has this whole meaning to a ship in the series.

Just wanna see what other son here think, even knowing I will be in the minority opinion on this show

The initial stuff was a lot of fun. The Monty Oum fight scenes carried the series (and really could have carried any series). Post Monty Oum, the fight choreography tanked, and I wasn't as interested. The plot was meh, and they really screwed up with the Faunus racism. Either make racism actually present in the series, or don't have the white fang.

The fighting is very good now, vastly improved from post Oum pre volume 6. It is a lot more fluent.
It isnt as batshit insane but is very well animated and moves fluently.

The thing is, I'd feel I'd have to watch all the seasons in between, which I really don't want to do. Or is there a quick sukmmary that lets me skip it?

Vol 4 and 5 quality is kinda bad except for on fight in vol 5. It helps build stories that go on.

I don't know; in my experience, indulging in one's vices tends to strengthen one's virtues, so long as one learns to compartmentalize properly. Otherwise, you get people who resemble structurally-compromised pressure cookers more than anything else, and it's never pretty when they explode. I mean, there are countless people out there who basically let their reproductive instincts make their decisions for them, because they don't know they can just use masturbation to shut them up so that they can start using their brains instead.

I used to love RWBY, so I kinda envy you for being able to still enjoy the show. Though I have no idea how you manage it; my best guess is that the show you're watching is completely different from the one that exists in my reality.

I don't know what drove you away, I just pushed it through the 3 volumes before they got the smoother animation.

And I have no idea what made you stick around; because the animation never got "smoother". Ever. It's still demonstrably worse than what was in volumes one through three. The animation sucks, the plot sucks, the pacing sucks, the characters suck, the designs suck, the setting sucks, the Grimm suck, the Maidens suck, the relics suck, Ruby's bootleg Sharingan sucks, the people involved in creating the show suck; literally everything about RWBY past season 2 is an utter train wreck, and even seasons 1 and 2 weren't that great in retrospect.

Again, you have to be watching a completely different show than I did.

It actually got smoother as they switched to using full Maya instead of using Poser with Maya characters.
It just isn't Oum style anymore.

That's something I kinda realised after awhile

Hell, it's sort of the problem with things like "Nerd Culture" it doesn't exactly have a strong cultural identity and people online so much and even get to be MODS tend to include guys who want dominance and attract/keep those who are pliable and such

Doesn't help if people are secretly embarrassed by their hobbies and want to impress people outside too much, as well

WTF, that's how insane the RWBY stuff has become.

Frankly I think that anime is likely to resist pressure from the Leftists, simply out of a 'fuck you, gaijin' mindset.

It's weird, but Japan may end up being instrumental in break the narratives and mindsets Leftists wish to push.

Yes, they'll have a problem getting into Japan itself and the creation process

Sure they cave in every now and then, but I don't think they can actually make themselves LIKE or remotely appreciate the weird and rude AF Westerners who aren't really popular even outside after a few looks

BUT it's the fandom in the West that will take the brunt of the damage
