Chad yes. Mandatory reminder of my extreme contempt for the isolationist theory of foreign policy and hostility to Islamism.As opposed to our government that doesn't and does so any way?
I'm not some shitlib ideologically wed to the idea of all cultures, societies and philosophies being equally desirable, they aren't.
It's very telling that isolationists in English speaking locales like here always obsess about how USA should follow it, but never, ever give even 10% of that effort towards pushing isolationism on rival powers.
Again, i think isolationism is a great idea... to inflict on one's enemies. By force if necessary. Though of course its easier, safer and cheaper to do it with bullshit than by force, that only comes into view when said enemies have no patience for bullshit. OTOH USA is very hard to use force against, but at the same time it has way too much patience for bullshit for its own good.
And i'm not the one who came up with that, many governments in fact use this idea in form of sanction and containment policies.
Considering your known opinions on grand geopolitical issues, it may even be the same application of isolationism you are practicing.
