If this had been a US airliner, the gloves would be coming off but since it isn't, I wonder if it will affect the situation even in the slightest degree.
If they were really unlucky it would be a Russian plane.
As is their not unlucky just stupid, america was drawing down forces and leaving, all they had to do to acheive their stratigic aims concerning us was litterally nothing. Then they ordered an attack on an embassy an act of war.
So yah not smart.

Mainly because they are the first responders so would have multiple days to sanitize the scene before anyone else arrives.

Unlike Ukraine I'm sure the US will have lots of surveillance on standby to see what's left out when they're preparing for the aftermath of the general's death.
So apparently the Iranians called the US bases ahead of the attacks so they could evacuate, so there would be no actual US casualties from this, so they could claim for their own internal propaganda how they totally are retaliating without actually doing anything to anger Trump for real, now that he has shown he's not to be pushed around.

That would mean the US definitely won this round of conflict.
I sort of figured given the fact there were no casualties something like this was probably the case.
AND Trump has a good pretext to withdraw from Iraq without it being seen as a surrender or running away now
Iran is also calling for ceasation of hostilities, claiming that their retaliatory strike satisfied them.
It may not be 4D chess, but if the situation stabilizes a bit more in the coming weeks that's a big win.

An important part, is that the very first line of Trump's address, is that he would never allow the Iranians to have nuclear weapons.
If the US pulls its bases out of Iraq and other neighboring countries, then hits Iran's nuclear infrastructure, what will the Iranians do then?
They'll have even less ability to hit back.

I cant even imagine how humiliating it must be, to be any country besides the United States.
I can kind of understand the general bitterness that goes with it. I mean, think about it. You live in a country, a supposedly sovereign state, with a military you're supposed to rely on, a government you're supposed to believe in.

I mean America can do whatever the fuck it wants to you. Your king, president, general, whoever the hell, if he does something America doesnt like, if he says something America doesnt like, America can vaporize him like a bolt from heaven and thats that.
America could annihilate your entire military, your entire culture, your reality, in a matter of days, and does not do so at their pleasure.
Can you even imagine how emasculating it was? To have your highest military athority publicly, instantly, executed by a government across the planet that you have absolutely no recourse against?
