Japan and america had been on a colision course in the pacific for decades at that point. That said we were under no obligation to sell them oil and scrap to continue their obivious quagmire in china. So that's really on Japan, Id like to note that the anti militerizm that took the country during the US occupation wasn't all us. The Army and Navy had acted like out of control cunts for so long that the local population was the one that turned against them.

9-11 In no situation was the middle east going to be left alone during the cold war, its weak and oil rich some one from outside was going to interviene, and america was a lot more fucking gentle than a lot of other powers. The fact that a spoild rich kid decided to kick the hornets nest is really on Osama more then anything else because we were retreating from the region before that.

Russia- Ukraine.

I personally think that war was going to go down no matter what nato did because of Russias geopolitical situation.

The funny thing is how all the usual suspect always love to accuse western and pro-western parties of "provocations" and ascribe to them any and all agency in conflicts, and they never throw such accusations at anyone else.

Nah, that one's on history and internal politics. Putin, his clique and his support base needed a boost after covid and tough economy of last decade, in their own particular ways. Ukraine, or more general "Russia resurgent" involving other former Soviet states like Belarus, keeps the RUSSIA STRONK crowd happy despite being poor, while the not so poor are kept happy by new opportunities to pocket money and possibility of new positions of importance opening up to them specifically in the expanded Russia and its sphere of influence. In total, it was to be both Putin's ticket to safe and comfortable future of political career and legacy afterwards. Now it's all up in the air though, and the chips could fall absolutely anywhere.

If we get it.

Look at how their mismanaging cities the center of their power base, look how their fucking up basic rule of law, look at the riots the bullshit the shear incompetance. Yes the left is good at using any means to get power but you look around and you see their absolutely shit at using said power constructively.

In the long term that shit bird does not fly as even the soviet union showed. It might take litteral decades but their not going to hold onto power forever.
