Stellaris X Dresden Files

You mean, like taking a secret sperm sample and using it, then producing the child with revelation as to whom the father is

Then saying that the father who never had sex with the mother. has to pay child support?

Admittedly, I sorta had that creepiness in mind

Yeah, I got weird thoughts for original fiction story ideas at times
Legislation always got the greater good of the child in mind so yes, even if deceived a father would be forced to pay for child support, however that same parent would have good enough arguments to put the mother in jail for the illegal use of his sperm so the person benefiting from the child support is probably going to be the paternal grandparents or whoever takes the child.

Idea: Zero/Dragon in one of his hallucinations or broken memories, somehow ends up in Glitch City, specifically a bar named VA11 HALL-A where he orders drinks from Jill Stingray

They talk

Not about everything, but one thing you sorta realize from VA11 HALL-A is that other characters have their own stories/adventures/plots of sorts

After his drink and time ends and he pays his bill, he wakes up back in his apartment

Did he really go to Glitch City while in his apartment in the Third District of New Mecca or it was just a dream? Got a job from his psychologist now

Well, for a plotbunny, I'm not too sure, but I do have the crossover idea of Mobile Suit Gundam and Transformers.
Depending on the incarnation of what Transformers, we get different plotlines, but the three most consistent I could think of are:
1. standard conflict, with the Autobots assisting the Federation of Earth, but the Decepticons not allied with Zeon
2. the appearance of Newtypes attracting the interest of various figures, such as Shockwave, or the Quintessons, for one reason or another.
3. The technology of Minovsky Particles, more specifically the Minovsky Particle Ultracompact Reactors and such. Depending on the timeline, the Regime of Cybertron could decide to just take the technology from Humanity, or Decepticons steal tech from the Zeon or Federation, causing tensions between the parties to highen and eventually erupt.

Ever since seeing the (relatively) recent DC animated movie about Doomsday killing Superman and after watching the part where you see some cops getting massacred by him, I wondered about how someone like Lex Luthor might propose a Protectorate like police force with advanced Lex Corp weapons and tech, using said massacre as a means of convincing the Senate or Presidency to sponser it's creation. A twist being the person who ends up heading Lex's paramilitary force would be an ex cop or military officer who lost a loved one in either Doomsday's rampage or a scrap between the League and some villains but without the cliché of hating the League.

It would follow them as they build up as a serious force with the chief director butting heads with the League (who think it's a nefarious Luthor plot) and Luthor (who didn't realize the guy he'd hired couldn't be emotionally blackmailed or manipulated as easily as he'd thought) and do what Luthor had proposed the force to be, a kind of super high-tech SWAT force to take on super powered criminals and arrest them/secure them for a completely legal prison and not for Luthor to get his hands on some potentially dangerous criminal muscle. I would imagine there'd be some conflict with Waller who'd want to take those criminals for her suicide squad.

I am sure that Luthor might eventually just write it off and then just use it to secure himself good press, and maybe even just feed his ego by making himself feel benevolent towards humanity and of course ticking superman off. Because for Luthor, when in doubt, tick Superman off.

I imagine that this police chief who surprisingly isn’t directing hate and paranoia towards superheroes, will instead take a sort of position like Donald Morgan from Dresden Files

He will know that they aren’t evil, but will think they are pretty naive or driven by well intentions and that may stop them from letting them do their jobs

Like killing a supervillain mid-fight

It’d be like having complaints against the police when they are killing opponents in a firefight and saying they’re warmongers

Definitely but there'd still be this niggling sensation of irritation he'd feel about something getting out from under his thumb. Luthor likes being in control and something that could be potentially very well received and even though it would probably give him a lot of kudos, that it wouldn't function as his private little army would, as previously stated, irritate him immensely.

Depending on the villain I could see that but with that said, the heroes are generally powerful or skilled enough that they're consistently able to defeat their enemies without having to outright kill them barring extreme examples (such as Doomsday). This is kind of the mythology of DC aims for with it's heroes in that they're usually quite godly in their heroics, larger than life in opposition to Marvel who's heroes are more akin to common people with flaws significant or familiar flaws that make them more relatable to the common man.

There would still be the problem that before they get taken down they kill people and cause property damage

The Joker may get shot by a simple sniper round a dozen times till his head is a smear on the floor

I'm thinking about writing a Star Wars x DC crossover.

Basic premise is that an SI is reborn in SW around about the time Anakin is born, is identified as a force sensitive in standard medical tests shortly after birth and taken in by the Jedi. Thanks to having previous adult life experience (and knowledge of SW), the SI makes relatively rapid progress through the ranks. Eventually Order 66 comes along (despite the SI trying to stop it, Palpatine's dark side masking was much more effective than canon) and in a desperate attempt to escape the SI tries to teleport.

The story proper starts with his arrival on DC Earth. My first inclination is for Young Justice around the start of that series, although I would probably AU it quite a bit.

Worm Prompt: Necromancers are just Late Healers after all

Amy Dallon gains the powers of a Necromancer alongside Biokinesis, essentially giving her powers over Life AND Death

How does Amy Dallon deal with having greater power and the ability to raise the dead as minions and maybe customize said minions and turning them into Chimeras

And just so you know, this’d be my headcanon image of her

79c.jpg

Kinda thought of Amy as a goth girl at times. And yeah, this is a pic of a Lich from Monster Girl Encyclopedia buy wearing wholesome clothing

@Ganurath
Since you’re pretty much the only other guy I know who does Worm, any thoughts on this AltPower?

Presume that she is still affected by Vicky’s aura, her appearance has also changed to the pic above and she maybe hides her full power

If there's appearance change, Cauldron is involved. Amy didn't trigger in this AU, so Victoria died of the wounds inflicted when the Chorus raided the mall. Desperate, Amy searches for a power to raise the dead, and Cauldron delivers with a multi-favor discount like Battery got in the hopes that the daughter of the Marquis would be able to mix a natural shard with a relevant vial to raise Endbringer casualties. The above results, and Drama Follows.

Oh, and the aura thing was Jossed in Ward. It's just what Amy tells herself to avoid feeling accountable for her desires.

I thought Cauldron knows that Corona Potentia+Cauldron Vial=More chances of deformities

Also, sounds like something that can label her an S-Class Threat and get people like Piggot paranoid

So wait, how’d Amy fall for her sister exactly? Just her being her closest family member?

On a lighter note, I find the idea of Vicky choosing Amy’s costume to be funny

That or Zion just offs himself early, causing powers to malfunction, so we can have the worst part of the plot off the board.

From what I know regarding Ward, Zion offing himself made the powers/Shards/Passengers get wonky and resulted in “broken” triggers

Still, if that gives a good explanation for Amy becoming a Lich Waifu, I like it

Again, they're approaching this from the perspective of solving Endbringer attrition. They're not above compromising morals, especially not their own.

By Victoria being the only positive relationship in her life for over a decade.

And the subsequent accidental mass murder is just something that won’t be a problem in the long run

Who’s idea was it to release Sveta when she can barely control those tentacles?

Guess that works too.....gonna resurrect her as a Wight

And have the strange interaction of powers resulting in ghost/aura hands and Wight Privilage

Because Wights get rich upon turning from Zombies to Wights, therefore their wealth is due to their race and stuff

And the brainwashing with her aura. That was also a thing. Remember Amy is less of a lesbian and more solely attracted to Vicky.
To quote Wildbow in response to someone making that exact same claim, you might be jumping to conclusions. Later in the story, well after the comment was made, Amy used that very claim as a superpowered equivalent of "the way she was dressed, she was asking for it" arguments. Victoria tore the logic apart, pointing out that she'd been around the other members of the family a lot more than Amy, and used her aura at greater intensities around them due to the combat situations that Amy avoided.

Story Idea: WALL-E from the POV of the malfunctioning massage robot prior to the former's arrival on the ship, as investigation into the lack of response to EVE's signal makes him realize that there's something obstructing the system... and someone needs to work out the kinks.
