So, the leader of PP Revival has summarized wonderfully why a lot of us Bulgarians don't give a rat's ass about the passing of the english symbolic monarch, it might have something to do with the systematic anti-Bulgarian politics the English have indulged in, starting with their support for the Turks and later the Greeks and all our other enemies for over 100 years, among the dramatis personae we find interesting bastards like
Hidayet pasha British-Lithuanian mercenary, terrorist and failed arsonist, ringleader of Bashibozouk murderers and rapists, an apparent long running Bulgaria Derangement Syndrome in the British press, including calling us uncivilized savages. The anti-Bulgarian massacres in Macedonia, the bombardment of Sofia despite the fact that Bulgaria was not contributing any men and material to the Axis war effort, which led to 4208 civilian casualties and which was done on the behest of Churchill, who thought that we had to pay for something and that we were, as the so called british Ryla commission said, uncivilized savages, he also demanded that the country be partitioned and punished heavily after the war.
Our national liberation from the Ottoman Yoke was postponed for over a generation thanks to British involvement in the Crimean war and after the Russo-Turkish war of 1877 much Bulgarian territory was returned to Turkey, the country was split and turned into a vassal of the Ottomans and fucked over in numerous ways, out attempts to reunify our lands cost us decades of bloody warfare and catastrophe and the Bulgarians from parts of the lands we lost because of Disraeli and the Berlin Congress were systematically discriminated against, killed, tortured and pushed off of their land.
He also says that "The british fight best against women and children" and that he "hopes that Wales and Scotland will soon be independent", and that this worship of the foreigner is idiotic.
He was also kinda pissed because Abe's death was not covered by the same level of media noise, as in, emergency news broadcasts and shows about his life since we have historically had decent relations with them and he was a very accomplished nationalist politician.
Also, apparently there was a 20 000 strong
Polish Ottoman legion but that is for another time, also how very Christian of the Poles.
So,
@Lord Sovereign to answer your questions from the other thread, and after we look at your country's dirty laundry, do you think that almost any Bulgarian with even a cursory interest of our national history and a shred of true patriotism would probably gladly spit on your dead queen's corpse?
What goes around, comes around.
