Him having drugs in his system doesn't mean kneeling on his neck was justified in any way, or that it caused him no harm.
He didn't just 'have drugs in his system' he had a lethal overdose.

That he inflicted on himself to boot.He didn't just 'have drugs in his system' he had a lethal overdose.

The knee on his neck is nothing that isn't done commonly and has yet to result in any deaths from LEO use
He had something like 4 times the lethal dosage in his system. He was going to die period.
Cops are garbage because only the stunted and the untalented work for the government for life. Barring a few exceptions, public servants are all lesser than animals.
But this beast of burden didn't kill Floyd. Floyd killed Floyd, stop defending a dude who put a gun to a pregnant woman's stomach and asked her if she wanted a free abortion.
Exactly. Cops are mercenaries who enforce the system. They are not your friends. But this doesn't mean that they aren't sometimes just doing the right thing for the wrong reasons and then get thrown to the wolves by their disloyal paymasters as a human sacrifice to the mob.
You are wrong and right.Exactly. Cops are mercenaries who enforce the system. They are not your friends. But this doesn't mean that they aren't sometimes just doing the right thing for the wrong reasons and then get thrown to the wolves by their disloyal paymasters as a human sacrifice to the mob.
Bad cops make the news better then the best copsLow IQ mercenaries whose IQs are exceptionally low compared to bureaucrats and other government officials/employees who are already low IQ to begin with.
And that is what's happening here. Chauvin is white and a shitty husband and a bad cop.
So they are framing him.
The knee on his neck is nothing that isn't done commonly and has yet to result in any deaths from LEO use

Supporting cops and befriending tjem often leads to them turning a blind eye, especially this day and agd with the amount of innocent cops injured and beaten and even killed.
And can you imagine how different things might have turned out had this actually been the case? But he would have died if he cooperated with the cops and just got in the car at the beginning. He was already dying.
And can you imagine how different things might have turned out had this actually been the case?
I worked as a Jailer, and they taught us thay when handcuffing in some way, put knee on neck to hold them still as you hand cuff.I know a guy in corrections who think the move itself is inherently flawed because there are better ways that are less likely to result in stress asphyxia when combined with a resister on downers or with a bad ticker. But he's a specialist in physical coercion. Who knows when the last time anyone updated the manual for that department? Oh right, right after Fentanyl Floyd died.
But he would have died if he cooperated with the cops and just got in the car at the beginning. He was already dying.
Exactly. It is fucking horrible.Bad cops keep getting defended and kept on while the good ones will get fired over bullshit, like, for example, making a video reminding cops that they took an oath to the Constitution and not their governor or mayor.
Uh, plenty of cops if you live in a red state and county would probably be on your side 99 percent of the time...Oh absolutely, make 'friends' with the gang with the badges, be useful tp them even.
But never confuse mutual utility for comradeship.
He asked to be put on the ground as he was saying he couldn't breathe in the car.And can you imagine how different things might have turned out had this actually been the case?
Nah, we would have heard they should have let him out of the car and onto the groundMost likely we never hear about it and life goes on. That's not the point. Are we saying the drugged up black folks have some sort of right not be arrested or detained if they don't feel like cooperating that day?

No, I'm saying that him being drugged up isn't an excuse for the police to act excessively. Him "dying anyway" isn't a "get out of jail free" card. Shooting someone who's dying of cancer or even falling to their death at that moment would still be murder. Most likely we never hear about it and life goes on. That's not the point. That seems like a really good way to injure someone's neck to me. Personally I was trained to put my knee between the shoulder blades.I worked as a Jailer, and they taught us thay when handcuffing in some way, put knee on neck to hold them still as you hand cuff.
He was also saying that he couldn't breathe as the cop kneeled on his neck, and I really do doubt that would have done anything but make it more difficult for him to breathe. He asked to be put on the ground as he was saying he couldn't breathe in the car.
Except, again comeptlly depends.Right up until they get the orders to do unto you. Then the paycheck wins. They're not even wrong. They took the salt, now they have to coerce who the Lord says to coerce. Our problem is with the Lords not their men.
If the person is stronger then you, and larger, shoulder blades may not work. So use neck. No, I'm saying that him being drugged up isn't an excuse for the police to act excessively. Quite a few people have said that and actually do end up dying from being asphyxiated, and at the time, the police said, just like these officers did, that they figured if the person could speak, that meant they could breathe, apparently not realizing that it's a lot easier to force air out of your lungs than to take new air in through a constricted airway. And people always say they can't breath when being restrained by police.
I'm dubious as to this claim, as I'm not one to take their word for it, but even if I accepted this as a given, that does not translate this into the officers knowing this at the time it occurred. It took quite a while for them to realize he was having actual medical distress, and even after they had, it seemed like they really didn't give a shit. This is contrasted quite a bit by the actions of the Capitol Police after they'd shot that unarmed woman. Also, his esophagus was not cut off...
Yes it did. Anyone could see that with their own eyes. Of course, I wouldn't expect you to be able to tell that given your other political views.Good thing that isn't what happened here then.
