i read about it in polish magazine/Technika wojskowa Historia3/2018-military technology history/
their sources were :
M.T Gusti "La campagna di russia 1941-43,il Mulino,Bolonia.
P.R Di Colloredo,Croce di Ghiarcia,CSIR ed ARMIR in Russia 1941-43,Soldiershop publishing,Zanica 2017.

That wasn't the intention. Apologies.

So, if I recall correctly, we were sent to the Eastern Front underequipped, outgunned and more. I remember an Italian war vet telling me that he had to literally drag some Germans because they were fanatically fighting despite the war was already lost. I don't recall the exact date, but I think it was mid-1944. They got a (maybe) slightly more humane treatment as POWs. But that's because they were (AFAIK) hellbent on genociding another "race" as the Germans. Not saying we had completely clean hands, but it's idiotic to equate Italian WW2 military's behaviour to the Germans.

All true. But still in 1941 you stopped soviet cold. And in that particular case soviets massacred all italian taken as prisoners, when you take 1300 POW.
In 1942 your calvary take trenches in charge. And,when in 1943 you lost, your alpini corp still manage to retreat after breaking soviets encirclment in bayonett charge.

And germans were like that.If they were smart, they would still cosplay as liberators, and then soviet would fight for them, and genocide after victory. We would lived in german world then.
Well, you would be live, germans planned to genocide poles, too.

But no,they could not wait. They must genocide from the start. There is great book by Jurgen Thorwald "The illusion" about soviets foghting for Hitler - it is one big cry "why we must genocide them, they wonted fight Stalin"

AFAIK there's never been any confirmation of him being a Pedophile. Just accusations from unrelated parties.

IIRC there's confirmation he had relations with a 16 year old while in his mid thirties, which is coupled with the allegations that he went younger.

See, I already know what people are going to say.

Let me just give you from what others I know have told me.
They are mostlikely doing this to just get more people.
Every branch needs people because with the possibility of war around the corner, moreservice members are always needed.

Could it be bad? Sure. Could it just be horrible wording? Yep.
We will see

Yes, the military is doing anything it can to boost recruitment numbers, because no service is able to retain people, particularly enlisted, very well anymore.

Turns out shit pay, abridged rights, untrustworthy command levels, the mounting number of lies the military has to live by, and the corruption in DC turn people off of signing up to serve.

GI bill and VA loans are nowhere near the incentives they used to be.

That does bring up a good question, though I'm not sure if it's for this thread or not. How would you return trustworthiness to the leadership? Not you specifically, but in general, what needs to be done to return competence to the leadership?
You fire any officer that tries to push a political agenda, and you lower the gap between Enlisted and Offcier thinking.
Something the Army is doing better then most other branches

I would say that it is a mistake to conflate competence with trustworthiness, because you can have very competent and accomplished liars and grifters in leadership levels, which are usually semi-political positions.

Trust in in our civil government and civil leaders has to be repaired before the problems in the military leadership, and it's affect on recruitment, can be addressed.

No one will sign up to serve a gov they do not trust, no matter what incentives the military recruiters offer.

True. With one addition - nobody worthy would sign to serve such a gov. But,it still could get many thugs from Antifa and BLM who want show their power to people.
They would not face any real enemy, but would be ideal for banana republic army which Biden is building.

There's one specific problem with that. The agendas that are weakening the military are the official policy of the US Gov. And therefore, anyone who resists the policies that are weakening things is "pushing a political agenda" and they get fired. I'm not disagreeing, by all means we need to stop having activists in high positions. It's just that those activists being in power can use their position to quash dissent in the name of exactly what you're saying, plus Good Order and Discipline.

Shit pay being a major problem can not be overstated.

An E-3 probably makes less than an 18yr-old full-time 40hr/wk cashier in my neck of the woods and definitely makes less than one where the minimum wage is $13.70/hr or higher.

We also get okaish housing, a steady pay check, free healthcare (As shitty as it is), free dental, somewhat free food (They take it out of your pay until you move out of barracks). When out of the barracks you get pay for food and housing. Extra money for going to schools and training. Extra money for a lot of things.
