MGOTW and minimalism appears to be growing among men in the west, and Women and the state/"society" are apparently most affected, at least if you go by all the establishment whining.
I have listened to reeing about the so called dating gap and (useless) degree gap for a few years now, and I have also seen a few studies showing that single, frugal men are happier with their lives and their stress levels are going down.

After women and single mothers in particular married the State and corporate bureaucracies is MGTOW/minimalism the new Going Galt?

Is this current trend just a reaction to the establishment being rabidly pro-Feminism, or is it men becoming uninterested in snobbish, entitled women with massive debts and bullshit Underwater Basket Weaving degrees trying to suck them dry through the state?
Is the fact that 98 % of women only go for the 3% of men that they find most attractive and/or because they discriminate on the basis of higher education?

Most of the MGTOW folk I know will sleep with a girl, but never consider a relationship. They also want to record consent, and a lot of stuff like that.

It has nothing to do with chastity. MGTOWs exist in a large number factions, but most of them want a transactional relationship with women, and nothing more. They will interact for business, or pay for services rendered, but they wont seek a relationship of any sort. MGTOWS are NOT incels, and most MGTOW communities drive out self identified incels.

Honestly, the mere existance of both MGTOW and incels, let alone Mens Rights Activists as a constant set of factions, that certainly haven't shrunk in the last few years, well, it's bad.

You don't want to spend too much time on social media or watching the news, as it will warp your reality. You constantly hear about MGTOW and how there are no good women nowadays. Perhaps there is an element of truth to it, but you cannot generalize. Most women aren't cunts. Most women are normal. I think the problem is that men aren't looking in the right places. Obviously it is unwise to ask women at work out anymore. Online dating apps like Tinder or whatever people use nowadays are a different can of worms. If you're hitting girls up at bars or night clubs, then don't be surprised when she abandons you. If you want a reliable woman you want to marry, then look for her at Church. Probably not the answer a lot of people want to hear, though.

TBH I see MGTOW/MRA as the 'equal and opposite' reaction to feminism and the institutional favor as well as behavioral changes it gives to/induces in women.
Much of it started with the "believe survivors" and fuck the evidence, crap as well as the 75 cents for every dollar propaganda pushed by Obama.
Remember the "Over 90% of war casualties are men but women most affected...." nonsense Hitlery was spouting, for example?

It has also targeted other imbalances brought about by sexual dymorphism, government meddling and leftist ideology, like the preferential treatment women get in universities, single mothers and spinsters "marrying the state" and demanding free gibs which men disproportionately pay for, as well as the snobbish view of "educated" women with ...studies degrees and massive debts towards skilled, non-university grad members of the trades.

To that you can add the idiotic, loose behavior modern culture and social media obsession makes women indulge in, like rampant hypergamy and an obsession with stupid things like Instagram.And the fact that they will want their boyfriends or spouses to pay for a lot of it.

The way I see it for many of them the numbers simply do not add up, and they prefer purely transnational relations with iron-bound terms and limits, with everyone from individual females to society and the state at large screwing them over.

So basically anti-feminism/Going Galt in a sense.

Pretty much the only people who are able to raise families in this kind of toxic environment are the religious. You pretty much need a direct mission from god to successfully raise a family, which means they will have the children and their values will be the values of future generations so be prepared for a religious revival and make your peace with god.
