It depends on the exact denomination. which is why I said overall better.
some protestant denominations are full on woke cultists.
others are bastions of conservatism.
others are in between.
the current pope though is literally a KGB spy who joined the church with other KGB spies specifically to undermine western society.
its kinda weird to lump all the different protestant denominations together though.

Don't want to toot my own horn but Eastern Orthodoxy. We don't have wokeism, we do have some problems with corruption on some occasions, but you can't get perfection from humans only God is. But the Orthodox have the best parts of Catholics and Protestants while avoiding their worst parts.
We are decentralized with no one infallible leader(except for Jesus) so we won't have to worry about one bad Pope coming in and fucking things up. Corrupting this Church won't be easy.
We also have a hierarchy unlike the protestants not every person can interpret the Bible and make up their own thing. Priests and Bishops educated men do that, so we don't have to worry about random people saying "The Bible does not condemn homosexuality because it was talking about abusive practices and temple prostitution. Not consensual adult relationships with an equal partner."
And yes some I have heard progressive protestant us that literal argument.
I feel the best way to avoid corruption of wokeism is to require only certain people be able to interpret and make judgment on matters of faith, and to make sure power is not centralized in one person or group that way if someone does get corrupted they can be anathemized and cast out. I mean how do you excommunicate the Pope if he is a heretic? We can excommunicate Bishops and Patriarchs if the rest of the Church decides so. It would be impossible to infilitrate multiple hierarchies in diffrent nations at the same time without getting caught like what happened with the Catholics.

Everyone? That would be a denial of pentecost. It would show that Christianity is false. Wait what do you mean when you say corrupt? Do you mean like Commies take over and the only survivors are those that renounce the faith to save their skins? We've had things like that happen in Rome. There was even a minor heresy where the perfectionists said that priests had to be perfect and the priests who renounced God under threat of torture or death no longer can administer sacraments or even are no longer saved and are permanently out of the Church. This could cause issues as baptism saves otherwise when they did sacraments like baptism if you had a baptism from a priest who apostasied, does the baptism count?

Now if we become heretics then again you have to look at Church history. You go back to the early Church and the Great ecumenical councils.

Again most Church's have most of the Bible so we can look at Christ's promise that the "gates of hell will not prevail" So both us and the Catholics(and by extension the Protestants) hold/held all 7. If both the Western Church has fallen and the Eastern then perhaps the Orientals were the true form of Christianity and only either the first 2 or 4 councils are valid and the rest are not. I would make this argument based on the fact that the Orientals still exist they haven't been wiped out.
You can't say the same about Arians because if Arians were right then Jesus lied and the gates of hell did prevail and there was no group that preached arianism.

Are you forgetting the part in Revelations where the devil takes over the world and all the surviving Christians are taken up as all of reality is rolled up as a scroll? This isn't referring to a literal kingdom on earth King.

That's true, only God can create paradise and it will only happen when he comes back and remakes/restores the world. But Christianity isn't JUST about securing your place in heaven(Yes it is that, but it's not the ONLY thing) again Christianity is not individualistic it is communal. There is the community of believers.

If you think that Earth is where God is going to establish his new kingdom, I don't know how to convince you. All I can say is God will not come to save the physical world. He will destroy it in a fire where all of man's achievements and dreams will be burned to ash heat, reality itself is going to be rolled like a scroll. After which comes the judgment where those that remain will be judged and parted to the right and to the left.
Like I said I can't convince you. I can only hope that you don't lose your faith in God when your expectations blow up in your face.
