Because Syria has Hezbollah locations in ot, and that the Syrian government supports them...
Isreal is trying to destroy those that have attacked thier land.
Hezbollah, Hamas
You are such a knucklehead that you seem to intentionally forget that Syria got attacked by people who got help from Israel, people like Hamas mind you, or even worse.
Israel's head of intelligence even said he preferred ISIS taking over Syria.
By your logic, countries that have US bases are fair game and targets...which is not anymore an IF but a WHEN thanks to Biden's visit.
Yours, pro-Israeli and Israeli excuse is "My/their enemy is there so is perfectly reasonable for me/them to bomb another country".
If the roles were reversed you would scream and furiously type for your government to start WW3 so you satiate the bloodlust you seemed to have expressed more than once so you can satisfy your deathwish.
And "attacked" and "their land" are very fucking debatable.
Not to mention Hezbollah is Iran-goverment-supported and Hamas is Qatari-supported (this one even a supposed ally of the US) not Syria-supported.
It is like you want to take revenge on a person while this person is in someone else's house so you bomb that house.

Does that sound like a sound and reasonable thing to do you soulless warhound?

Because Syria allows Hezbollah to.operate in thier borders, as well as th fact that it doesn't matter of Hezbollah and Hamas are funded by separate countries.
They are both supported by people that want Isreal gone.
They actively work together.
I mean, why else would Hezbollah attack Isreal while Hamas is taking the brunt of the force?
Because they think it allows them to be more successful.

Stop advocating for people who want you dead because you arnt Muslim.

How much control does Damascus actually have at the moment over who does or doesn't "operate" within Syrian borders?

Besides the fact that Syria is barely able to enforce a border control since 2011, Hezbollah was one of the non-state entities that helped against ISIS, a problem which your elites either exarcebated at best or covertly and/or indirectly helped at worst. By your same reasoning, it would be fair to treat US forces in Northeast Syria the same, which is a matter of when and no longer if.

Yes it does.

How is that a concern of the Western world at large? Israel, Lebannon and Gaza aren't located anywhere near Europe or North America.
They actively work together.
Again, why should concern any of the countries from Portugal to Lithuania?

Again I will ask you : why should concern any of the countries from Portugal to Lithuania?

Blaming Syria for not being able to control its territory hits different when there are active US bases set up uninvited in the country next to major, coincidentally, oilfields. No Syria gets none of that oil, weird.

Why would Syria do anything to help out a major US proxy? What are they going to do, bomb their airports at random and rob them of hundreds of millions of dollars? Oh wait.

Mind these are the same US troops that Trump wanted to withdraw but had the military lie to his face and play shellgames with.

IIRC biden sent a bunch of troops there on his first day in office.

Also Syria has been seriously destabilized for over a decade now. in a nonstop civil war. a country in ruins

Gaza-Israel is a real damn mess but Syria? That's a decade of US and NATO meddling, occupation and larceny. Expecting them to be able to exert control of their borders after spending all that time destabilizing them? Fucking ridiculous.

If it involved any other faction of the Syrian Civil War, you would have had a point, but Hezbollah? They are Assad's ally's rent-a-militia operating in Syria with Assad's invitation! He should control his own damn goons if no one else.

Smells like time traveler or isolationist, because no one else can be delusional enough to think these are far away from Europe with modern transportation methods.
Yes, they are exactly close enough to Europe to be a concern.
For example, being within the range of a shitty dinghy apparently.

You mean the ISIS that Trump helped destroy most of thier territory.

Hezbollah works for Iran and Syria.

Because citizens of thier countries have tiber died ir been captured, and doing nothing shows that your own citizens mean nothing to you, and that you will gladly let them be murdered.....

At least I understand that Hamas also wants me dead, as do all these other groups
