There is always the good old Gyros, too, and it comes with pork and a thicker, spongier "pancake bread", they also put in nice greek salads and other addons.

Merkel tried to engage in some geopolitical maneuvering by inviting the descendants of Germany's Ottoman allies into Germany in huge numbers (Syrians, Iraqis, et cetera). Before that, of course, Turks themselves were invited into Germany.

That, and food of countries that are nearby (Italian, Bosniak etc.) which had also become normal since a long time. I mean, food we have available is perfectly fine. Why bother with something exotic for the sake of it? I did try foreign food as well, but with sole exception of the Japanese food, I found it a complete waste of time. And if you really want to try something... you have Google, you have kitchen, go and have fun.
If you have the experience to reliably tell and you can afford to be so picky, you can also afford to travel a long way to the right place for it.

What exactly was wrong with what these two women did?

But why the fuck should I myself personally care about what SJWs think? They should want more productive people, right? Isn't the problem that millennials are too poor?
