From what I remember when I looked into it back in the day, Wicked is peak 90/early 2000's slop. You've got the villain recontextualized and rewritten into being the good guy all along and nonsense racial messaging.


The multiracial colorblind society came to fruition in the 90s. White kids from the 'burbs raising fists in solidarity with NWA and whole families crowding around to watch Urkel or the Fresh Prince.
Their reward was the LA riots, the Central Park 5, a punch in the face.

In a ideal world, yes. In reality, given how bad the education system is in the West, most of them don't. Or just got their position because of woke racism/ Diversity Equity and Inclusion push.

That and, as we've found out, 9 out of 10 'experts' agree with whoever is giving them money. Assuming they aren't actively malevolent or so warped by ideology their sense of morality is backwards. yes those are two different things, though the results can be so similar it's little comfort.
