We are literally comparing bad stuff. Did you forget what started this conversation? A statement that progressivism was worse than communism. So yeah, I am comparing the two to find out which is worse. Everything progressivism has done, communism did more of in a crueler manner.
The ideology that did the bad thing (communism, as it happened in china) is at least as bad as who encouraged it.

From what I have seen in the USA progressive/liberal is basically a code word for megalomaniacal commie with a side order of pedophilia and bestiality, and probably scat and guro, too, and the need to demand there are no biological genders.

It's got a 150 year head start, it'll be out in front for a while. And yeah, communism has done more than nearly any other ideology to promote evil. For abortion? China alone beats the US. Corrupting the arts? Socialist Realism and Brutalism. Attacking the soul? Banning Christianity in various socialist states. Canceling and forced lying? The cultural revolution alone did worse.
Considering it was made by Japanese people, it may have been entirely meaningless and random to them. It also might have been a joke, because "hard r" is a way that Leftists have of describing someone as racist because they said "nigger" instead of "nigga" i.e. "He used a hard r and everything!"
Petty, but they're clearly winning. And winning handsomely, decisively, and continuously.
