And in today's episode of "I'm not too sure this headline is going to have the intended effect" we have the Washington Post introducing Mitch McConnell as and I quote here: "Sitting on a throne of skulls, Mitch McConnell confirms his 8,999th judge". Yes, in an attempt to make McConnell look bad they have instead made him look metal as fuck.

First he was Cocaine Mitch, then he was the grim reaper and now he's sitting on a skull throne. It's like his opposition is determined to make him sound cooler.
Values dissonance. When you thinking and priorities get screwed up enough, you cease to be able to tell what's cool and what's not anymore. That's how Scientologists were able to put out Battlefield Earth and not realize they'd generated the biggest turd to come out of Hollywood for decades, their echo chamber had gotten strong enough that they couldn't realize how terrible the movie they were making was and their values were messed up enough to not realize what they were spewing anymore.

I'm reminded of the show Squirrel and Hedgehog, a virulently anti-American propaganda piece made in North Korea. Due to Nork values being skewed beyond belief, it depicts Americans as unstoppable wolves eight feet tall with glowing eyes, strong enough to rip a tank in half with their bare claws and packing gatling laser cannons among many other badass weapons. The sole female American is a hot (relatively, it's a kid's cartoon) foxgirl who's the fan favorite. Meanwhile North Koreans are represented by ducks, squirrels, and hedgehogs about two feet tall.

Americans like watching it more than North Koreans do.

Looks like Kotaku took a page from Extra Credits last year and decided to remind Gamers that Nazis Are Bad!

Yeah it's like that excretably smug Extra Credits video from a year ago which whined about the portrayal of Nazis and terrorists in video games a while ago.

How popular was Extra Credits before?

Probably one of the biggest gaming (and its offshoots about history and whatever) YouTube channels out there. I don't think I've seen much since that video came out... more out of lack of interest then intent, but it had over two million subscribers and AFAIK, six digit views on all of their videos I'm sure.

It's honestly strange how guys who maybe know things in-detail like him are so obsessed with "Being On The Right Side of History"

So, the New York Times decided to try and write an article defending Biden unfortunately they're rather incompetent and instead wrote something less then helpful in their attempt to defend him and promptly tried to retract it. Twitter Link showing before and after of article:

Archive Link to NYT Tweet chain with the text.
No other allegation about sexual assault surfaced in the course of our reporting, nor did any former Biden staff corroborate Reade’s allegation. We found no pattern of sexual misconduct by Biden, beyond hugs, kisses and touching that women previously said made them uncomfortable
Bolding my own.

I know that it's hard to come up with ways to defend Biden but come on NYT surely someone at some point should have read that line and went "Wait a minute this does the exact opposite of what we want it to do".

Considering the general radio silence by the believe all women crowd when it comes to the accusations against Biden I suspect that may well be the case.

Which means we absolutely positively have to destroy biden with this shit so we can go back to the days where due process was a thing. Unless of course you want false rape alagations to become the standard democratic tactic for all time of course.
