Tracy Chapman is one of my favorite country stars. What does Washington Posts Emily Yahr have to say about her.

Wait... She thinks the song Fast Car never dominated the music scene because she was queer and black? I didn't even know she was gay until I read this gayass tweet.

It was her debut album in 1988 and it was (and still is) a legendary song. Her debut album was nominated for three Grammies! She's had so successful a career she has a Greatest Hits album.

Just give me one reason why WaPo would have this take?

Even Tracy Chapman praised Luke Combs version. She don't need lameass journos White Knighting her. 😭

Yeah this song is alright I guess. Maybe if we got a White guy to sing it people would actually listen (said no one ever).

I haven't even listened to the Luke Combs version. Just no real interest for me. I'm sure it's fine though. Luke Combs is a big fan of Tracy Chapman after all.

Still haven't heard the Luke Combs version because I don't really care, but this collaboration they had at some Awards Show warmed my heart.

I love Tracy Chapman's music so seeing her so happy performing a great debut despite the nontroversy with the guy was awesome. It sounded great and she sounded great and she looked great on stage as well. ❤️

Pretty much shows the media outrage was manufactured cringe at this point.

If its the US school system it would not surprise me. I don't think it's on the graduation exam and since you have to pass it they may not teach it.

While Bill Maher may criticize the woke left, he's apparently still a big Gavin Newsome fan. In this he insists that the governor is a "winner" because he can win elections, but when pressed on what the governor has actually accomplished, Maher has nothing to say.

No matter how many times it seems like Bill Maher is coming to his senses, he ends up reminding you of the fact that he will always be an ivory tower elitist, completely disconnected from reality.

Former Intercept and The Hill Rising journalist Briahna Joy Gray did a slam dunk on this pro-Israel post.

Those rockets flying over Israel are killing children! Someone needs to put a STOP to this!

Yeah... of course I read the book.

Yeah... of course I know about the conflict. 🤥

They came for the gas stoves and I said nothing because I used electronic stoves.

Then they came for gas lawn mowers and I said nothing because I was a member of an HOA.

Then they came for our toilets and there was no one left to speak for me because they had been flushed out already...

Thematically the article might've fit better in shitlording... but actually no.

Doesn't help that as soon as they're finished lecturing you about your carbon footprint they board their private jets to fly twenty minutes home lest they be forced to drive alongside the plebs.

The thing is you can always get new elites, and if you insist on being an ass you will be replaced by some one who at least pretends to give a shit.

New York Post publishes an article stating that women are not interested in mansculine men anymore. They want a "babygirl" man, who acts and dresses like a little girl.

Extremely cringe. Also funny comments as basically all the women turned up to say "no we do not"

On one of my first days at The New York Times, I went to an orientation with more than a dozen other new hires. We had to do an icebreaker: Pick a Starburst out of a jar and then answer a question. My Starburst was pink, I believe, and so I had to answer the pink prompt, which had me respond with my favorite sandwich. Russ & Daughters' Super Heebster came to mind, but I figured mentioning a $19 sandwich wasn't a great way to win new friends. So I blurted out, 'The spicy chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A,' and considered the ice broken.

The HR representative leading the orientation chided me: 'We don't do that here. They hate gay people.' People started snapping their fingers in acclamation. I hadn't been thinking about the fact that Chick-fil-A was transgressive in liberal circles for its chairman's opposition to gay marriage. 'Not the politics, the chicken,' I quickly said, but it was too late. I sat down, ashamed.

Slate columnist freaks out because her 16 year old daughter wants to be a stay at home mom.
she has told her dad and me that she no longer plans to go to college because "real men don't need some educated feminist woman..." We've already taken her off social media and put her into therapy,...
Ok, so, child abuse by insane liberal aside. that is genuinely funny.
