I'm trying to argue that there is a moral difference between a nation which was the world hegemon overseeing the largest increase in human prosperity in history, but had many dirty secrets and shitty dealings on the side, and a nation which had a state policy of slaughtering its own people to keep the rest in line through terror.
Socialism is evil, and the socialists/communists of the 20th century created the closest thing to hell on earth mankind has ever seen. The Chinese and North Koreans have also brought that forward into the 21st century.
Western Christianity-derived free market democratic republics are tainted, flawed systems, that are the least-bad we've ever seen.
Also a redundant one. Islam is always at war with every other ideology in the world.

That much is true, but at leat muslims are always at each others throats as well, invading Mecca and Medina would give them a strong unifying boost.
And you might have had some vague point, before the stolen 2020 election.
Now, we are little better than a nuclear armed banana republic, which shows all the moral superiority we claimed during the Cold War to be a giant domestic propaganda campaign.
We may not have been as bad as Soviet Russia or Mao's CCP, but we are not even close to the 'shining city on the hill's some fools still think we are.
The masks have dropped, the FIOA requests have gone through, and the feet of clay of the whole rotten DC/Western establishment has been laid bare for the world to see.
Edit: What we need is a Laughing Man or Ozymidius to reset the board and allow the masses to toss out the corruption whole sale and break the establishment/mass media's control on the public and what info we are 'allowed' to see.

The worst thing about Neocons is they are warhawks right up until the degree of aggression needed to win, then they snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. All of the blood spent in the middle east has been squandered because they wilt at the word imperialism.
If you want empire you need to have an honest conversation at some point and you need to compensate the people who make it possible you need to compensate the core. And I don't see them willing to do that, their not being honest with themselves much less any one else.

The Cold War has jack all to do with the 'Russia collusion' hoax. The reason that Hillary and company picked Russia was because they political left is too friendly with China, and Russia was the only other viable candidate on the planet for seeming like a scary adversarial nation.
They would have used Liberia if they thought it might be seen as a credible threat by the public.
That's bullshit and you know it; they picked Russia because of Trump's family and his wife, along with knowing they could stir up old Cold War fears in the Boomers by trying to connect Trump to Russia.

That then did a one-eighty for votes after it's whole premise had been thoroughly blown up by the annexation of Crimea.
And, of course, the valiant journalists in much of media left the sudden, dramatic reversal in policy/principle alone entirely to focus on (nonexistent, potentially even deliberate misinformation or even maskirovka) Trump pee tapes.
