Arlos has a closer look, but from my perch, hell no. The French elite have always maintained the metropole's central authority and power over the rest of the French world at all cost. Anything that threatens Paris' ability to control the French empire has always been and will always be opposed. Its why they're worse allies than even perfidious Albion. In this case the woke crap has become detrimental enough to French power than Macron and the other elites are moving to punt it out, which considering how much of this philosophy was born in Paris should tell you how far we've wandered.
