I agree, but making out-there predictions is just going to discredit your positions when your predictions don't happen. If you want to call out the GOP establishment, fine. If you think losing the senate would help realign the party and would be worth it, that's an argument you can make. But don't pretend like Pompeo is secretly a die hard MAGA guy who secretly has constitutional cheat codes that'll give ultimate power to Trump and send the establishment to jail.
Still, I think Sandman being one of the ones to call him out is a bad look. It's like if your crazy uncle who paid for your college was posting crazy shit on Facebook, you might talk to him privately about it, but you don't go around denouncing the guy on Facebook.
