If they pick someone that's not scum to rally around, then people agree with them.
If they pick a scumbag and lie about their case like here, you already had two camps ready to go at each other throats: the people who actually know what the hell that sick bastard did, and idiots who only see his race and immediately go 'oh no muh poor black victim das rassis'

Tribal mentality. Cops and white people are bad, therefore anyone who opposes cops and white people must be good. Facts are less important than their Truth, so the details don't matter. Didn't happen in the US but in the UK.
Police actively had arrangements with the Grooming gangs or people who did such things and knew what they did and if there were reports about missing girls would approach them and ask for the girls to be returned but would ignore girls who did not have any reports about them but were in these people's hands.
And the police are in no way right wing. This is the left for you.

All sorts of reasons one of which is that you never know if you are killing an innocent person for example.
At any rate, it doesn't matter as even if death penalty existed for the UK, it wouldn't be applied to these people cause they are protected

It depends. There is always a trial that determines guilt, and some people are proven to be guilty beyond doubt with DNA evidence, eyewitnesses, video, etc.

But some crimes cry out for justice. Many families would be brutalized by the knowledge their loved one's victimizer still lives and is cared for.

Sure. I don't expect much. UK is in the grip of the Left.
That case was the one Trump's team posted that statement about, thanking the judge for making the ruling, as as biased as it is, quickly, so they can move this to SCOTUS faster.
What the lower courts say right now isn't as important as what happens in the next few weeks as the big cases regarding election fraud via Dominion start being brought, and what happens in SCOTUS when everything finally ends up there.
Those grudges were earned. What Kav went through was pretty much unforgivable.
