I genuinely suspect that the alleged trump remark regarding the troops was intended to lower his support from the rank and file soldiers, as well as the NCOs and lower ranking officers.

Given the war gaming they’ve been doing about a contested election in which the military intervenes, I suspect that this is psychological propaganda directed at the troops-they don’t want a situation where the brass and Pentagon princes back Biden but large numbers of the rank and file stay loyal to trump.

It’s all propaganda, and information warfare.

Which is why the Atlantic is trying to psychologically manipulate the common soldier to oppose him.

Imagine a scenario, it’s late January 2021. There are nationwide riots and people are dying, trump claims to have won the election but the democrats are claiming ballots were suppressed or not counted. Trump claims these ballots were fraudulent and so were rejected.

The media and the Dems are declaring trump must be removed from office, the secret service however is still behind the president, several members of the pentagon have officially stated they believe Biden won. And issue orders to their troops to move to DC, to effect the removal of the 45th president and ensure an orderly transition.

The rank and file soldiers who back trump-who believe he won legitimately, will be placed in the most uncomfortable position for soldiers, obey their superiors and overthrow their president, or obey their president and disobey their superiors.

What happens if large numbers of troops refuse to support the deposition of the president? Or they proclaim they will support him as duly elected.

What do the Dems do then? Will fighting erupt in the barracks and bases? Will pro trump soldiers be arrested or detained? Will pro Biden officers get fragged?

If the election is disputed-the chain of command breaks down. If there are two men claiming to be president-then the soldiers will decide who wins.

The Dems and their allies don’t want those soldiers to have Trump on their insignia.

Which is why they have pushed this almost certainly fabricated story.

You do know Gen Milley, chair of the cheif of staffs has gone out and said the military will not get invovled with removing the president should it come to that right? For either side.

I’m well aware. The situation can change though. As so often does in such high stakes political crises.

The general every Soldier is willing to die for has already said the military will not be apart of any taking of the white house, as in taking someone out of it. Should Biden or Trump win. They won't be used to throw said person out for either side.

The biggest thing the US military has for us to vote is in jeopardy because of the left, as well. Absentee ballots are mail in, and drastically help those of us who want to be invovled.

Basically, we are gonna let the Secret Service and DOJ deal with who gets into the whote house when who claims who won. We won't get invovled

It's a bit arrogant of you to assume that you can speak for every soldier, and you don't seem to understand exactly how the Dems plan to use mail-in voting to cheat. If you're voting for Trump, your mail-in ballot is probably going to get tossed in the trash.

That is how every Soldier not in their home state has to vote.
 
Let's not act like a mail in vote system won't be tampered with from both sides. It's just too open and easy. The winners will come down to which side cheated better.

The whole idea of a mail in election is a sham. I don't care what side wins, it's not legitimate. Either side will have standing to contest it, and THAT is the problem with mail in voting on a large scale
