Oh look another transgender person turns out to be sex offender.
This discussion is directly relevant to US conservatives because, for the most part, they consider themselves truth-loving. Whether or not any given claim about trannies is true or false is very important to most conservatives, and shapes what they consider permissible. That conservatives are often split on these issues, with different ideas about what is true, is very sad... but also very pertinent to the direction of the US conservative movement. Can the debate on the validity of transgender identity and whatnot be moved to another thread? A lot of the discussion going on has nothing really to do with the "US conservative movement".
Can you not use derogatory language? Please. This discussion is directly relevant to US conservatives because, for the most part, they consider themselves truth-loving. I am not a conservative; I am a nationalist. While there are many who call themselves conservatives who also value nationalism, the "US conservative movement" has a decades-long history of failing to uphold nationalist principles, not to mention failing to uphold conservative principles. So, the "US conservative movement" to me are like unto the Samaritans in Biblical parable. Some among them are my neighbors. Can you not use derogatory language?
I assume that you identify as part of the "US conservative movement". As such, what are relevant claims made regarding gender and sex that you think are false and thus keep you from wanting to associate with people making those claims, and why do you think they are false? If they were proven true, would you be willing to associate?
In that case, if you don't even identify as a conservative or with the US conservative movement, I don't really know what business you have saying what is or isn't relevant to US conservatives.I am not a conservative; I am a nationalist. There is a single relevant claim regarding sex, the false claim that males may become females and females may become males. No amount of hormone therapy or surgery can accomplish these goals. Males and females who attempt to 'transition' do not change their sex, they merely make themselves into eunuchs. Hence the high suicide rates when they figure out how they've been snookered, what they've done to themselves, and when they realize the terrible humiliation of having quarreled wretchedly with loved ones who tried to tell them the truth.
I don't have to play on the Patriots to know that ditching Brady was a bad call, or to say it.In that case, if you don't even identify as a conservative or with the US conservative movement, I don't really know what business you have saying what is or isn't relevant to US conservatives.

On the contrary, Cowboys fans are free to run their mouths about Redskins drafts just as much as anyone else. Further, those among Cowboys fans who feel kinship with Redskins fans, for love the game they share, will of course let Redskins fans know when they're obviously huffing copium.Sure, but a Cowboys fan would have no business speaking for what the Redskins should or shouldn't do.

Why should we censor ourselves? Political correctness is a tool of the enemy and romantic notions about respect when the opposition hates us and lacks any sense of respect themselves is merely standing in quicksand and delusively calling it the moral high ground.
Because kindness is a virtue and using derogatory language like that is needlessly unkind. I'd hope that people in my own "camp" could appreciate that, though Alathon clarified that he and I aren't really in the same camp.
Kindness is a courtesy that trans people have utterly exhausted beyond any and all consideration and continuing to bestow kindness to such a dangerously unstable, abusive and predatory group of people who routinely take advantage of such kindness ceases to be an act of virtue and starts to be an act of seditious appeasement.
The left as a whole takes advantage of your kindness. Exploits it ruthlessly and you continue to show your bellies.
These people? Routinely brag online about exposing themselves in front of children, grooming children and repeatedly talk about how they're coming after yours and you still want to show your belly?
You people aren't being virtuous, you're being weak.
And I refuse to allow my foster country to be stolen from my children because our supposed conservative allies keep surrendering ground and limping in front of the pride of hungry lions.
Because you're scared of being called racist, phobic or mean.
Screw that.
You're committing the same fallacy here that leftists do; conflating some members with the whole of a group.
Showing that there is kindness available to them outside of the movement that 'supports' them is one of the best ways to pull them out of the gender-queer cult.
No I'm not because statistics and observable behavior prove that upwards of 80 percent of all trans people are as I described.
When that many of them are a danger to themselves and those around them? Yeah I'm quite confident in assuming the worst.
The "you're sounding like a leftist" is a rhetorical cope that.stopped working in Obamas second term bro.
I dont want to pull them out. I don't want them on my side, they are a threat to everyone I love under the age of 18.
I want them to go back to the margins where they belong, I want them in asylums and I want them to think twice before they go anywhere near a family or normal society because a wellness check that results in institutionalization will invariably follow.
They need to be cured or contained and treated humanely for the illness that compels them to hate, maim and sequester not near me, not near mine.
Humane institutionalization would be better than what'shappening now, but that's not going to happen any time in the near future.
It's better to try to work from where we are, and do what we effectively can, than to focus on fantasies. Maybe in twenty years the cultural tide will be turned around to where proscribing 'gender-affirming care' will be grounds for stripping a doctor of his medical license, and giving it in all but the extreme fringe of cases where there is actually something physically going on, will be grounds for imprisonment.
See, the conservative movement held immense control over popculture and our institutions when the religious right was in full agro mode and it only lost that power when it started to appease instead of.oppose.
...What?
When, exactly, did the conservative movement hold control over pop culture or our institutions?
Dude seriously? 1860s -1890"s then from 1945 until 1965 and then from 1975 to about 1999 when they blew their load trying to oppose edginess and the whole war on heavy metal and TV.
There was a time when conservatives were conservatives not cuckservatives.
