@colorles was actually talking about when it comes to things, including a generally higher IQ than average and especially the ability to hyperfocus. Further, ADD is also stupid easy to self medicate, as it responds to even the most basic bitch natural stimulants found in nature... you know caffeine and nicotine, to the point where some of our tropes associated with "high intelligent" people actually are traits of people with ADD who self medicate. For instance think about the tropes associated with the "absent minded professor" archetype. Very smart in a narrow field they are super interested in, usually seen either smoking a pipe or cigarette, and often having numerous coffee cups laying about in various stages of being drunk. All while being a bit absent minded and unfocused on other topics...
