Kyle Rittenhouse Trial Thread

Noticed this point,
"...A more winning strategy will be if they can show that law enforcement “was simply negligent in their ability to protect the deceased,”

Haven't the courts already declared that Law Enforcement is NOT actually required to aid and protect, and therefore can't be held liable if something bad happens while they stand there and watch?

Hilarious that you expect these people to have a consistent logical framework.

They literally can't do that. Civil courts can't put people in jail.

Ok feddie.
I'm not American, thank god. And, yes, given how batshit insane America has become and is still degenerating even further, I'm glad I'm not, to be honest.

We have our problems here in the UK, but our problems are ripples in an ocean compared to the Colonies'. smh

In the UK, Rittenhouse would have been given at least 5 years for possession, if not straight up murder charges. Or he wouldn't have had the gun and died.

And despite our problems (such as the Muslim/Pakistani grooming gangs), we don't have hordes of BLM and AntiFa thugs rioting on the streets and burning down entire cities, so that situation wouldn't have happened over here anyway.

Again, we have our problems over here, but fucking hell I'm glad we don't have the States' levels of being legally and culturally fucked. Yet, anyway.

You don't even have freedom of speech. Your government is already so fucking commie that BLM would make it less far left.

Yeah, as I said we have our problems, but again we don't have scores of racist and Marxist thugs burning down entire cities (which is what led to Kyle's situation).

Frankly, we're not as fucked as Americans are. Currently, anyway.

...Did you even read that page?

There were widespread protests, but the majority of them had only a few hundred people at most, lasted a day or so, and were basically hijacked by organizers with other motives than protesting the death of that American career criminal (such as wanting streets renamed, reparations, the usual Leftoid bullshit). That's a drop in the bucket.

The most people gathered was about a thousand at St. Albans, and even then that was a bit of an outlier.

The general consensus at the time was and still is that, outside of Lefties and those wanting to use his death for their own motivations, no one really gave a shit. For Hyde Park, for example, to have only three hundred people protesting? smh

And, again, no cities were burned down. There were no riots. The protests were peaceful and lasted like barely a month (across two months, mind).

Compare that to Antifa, BLM, and other exploiters acting like fucking wild animals across your nation with multimillions in property damage.

So, yes. I reiterate that we're not as fucked as you Americans are. Yet.

We're on a depressing road though. :(

So the exact same as most US ones, got it.
Yes, a lot of the protests were just using Floyd as a pretext to act like animals, but again... cities in the UK? Still standing. Our protests were civilized and not really taken seriously by the greater population.

Face it, dude: we're fucked, but not as fucked as you Americans are at the moment.

Our cities are still standing too.

You have less people than we do.

This is just begging for him to counter-sue for people trying, you know, to kill him.

Good grief...
I think the Alex Jones case set a precedent to weaponize civil courts to basically enslave people they don't like by making them pay obscene amounts of money.
I think the goal of the Organizations. And lets be frank that is what is gonna be behind these suits. Is to Bankrupt Kyle for life. Because even if he wins the cases it will cost him millions of dollars to defend each case. And Go fund me only goes so far. And if you have a Judge that has a hateboner for him in the Appeals Courts. Well it could be life ruining.
