I live "relatively" close to the Swiss Border. If something had happened (like an actual terrorist attack or "operation") I would have told you guys by now.

...the tinfoil-hat-side of my brain is now waiting for the 'right wing attack against the WEF' that will obliterate many people there and be the 'reason we have to embrace the WEF's plans.'

Logical side of your brain. If both dudes do not come, then somebody at least plan to bomb them.

Or worse....there is a 10 hour powerpoint presentation that is mandatory to attend. It will detail our future goals, the progress we have made and our vision going forward. After that a motivational speech from a nice gentleman from Russia.

Who's the Russian? Because if it is supposed to be Putin, I have yet to see any sign that he supports the WEF. In fact, everything I know points to him being very much against them.

Lol...

Putin didn't shy away from WEF, he only got disowned by WEF (at least officially) once he did the funny.
I don't understand why would you simp for a KGB glowie, and delusionaly think him your ally. He will tell you what you want to hear to get you to support him as an useful idiot, and then go to the people who hate you and tell them the very opposite to get them to support him.
How is it so hard to understand that being in conflict of wannabe "global leadership" doesn't mean he opposes it or is your friend, rather than merely having a disagreement over who should be in charge of it (that being him, not Schwab, and most definitely not me or you)?

Meanwhile:
When not propagandizing you, but the people who hate you, Putin calls you part of racist and neocolonialist "golden billion" who is rich off robbing Asia and Africa. Yes, it's golden billion, not golden 1% of a billion, so that there is no confusion that you and other ordinary citizens of your country may be excepted. Great figures to simp for you pick...

Ah yes, just because I don’t have in-depth knowledge about what Putin has been up to with the WEF, I must be ‘simping’ for him instead of just being misinformed.

Thanks for the information by the way.

No problem, hope you remember it better than the last time i've informed you of Putin's history with WEF.

Well I'm convinced.

Where's my phone...

"Hello... is this Voluntary Human Extinction Movement?"

This should be filed under evidence for the theory that politics are downstream of culture.
With WEF being a representation of big world of politics, being conquered by this example of insane and delusional trend of green nutjob leftist culture.

I fully expect people to turn on Greens and leftist culture more and more as time goes on.

WEF Panel 'City of the Future' Is Pretty Scary

If it’s not clear yet from the wild things we’ve seen from the World Economic Forum (WEF), it seems to be all about constructing the ideal society — in which they can control everything.

Back in 2018, the WEF told us that we would “own nothing” and be “happy”–and everything would be within 15 minutes. Why? So, you wouldn’t have to have vehicles (or the freedom those vehicles bring).

They’ve since scrubbed that video from their website, although not from their Twitter account. Elon Musk said that video gave him “the willies.”

But some have moved along further on the idea. Fast forward to the idea that was laid out during one of the WEF panels — this is what is being envisioned in 2023 for 2045 — the 5-minute city “utopia.”

You’ll live in modules, completely enclosed [so, it looks like they could keep you in, if they wanted to], everything within 5 minutes’ walk, and no cars.

Where is your private yard or your freedom? 80,000 people living within 5 minutes of each other in a pod, so you reduce the number of businesses and you only have one big store for the “catchment area” of 80,000 people? What happens to all the private businesses you just eliminated? What are these people thinking, and do they not know anything at all about humanity? The betterment of humanity gets sacrificed for the “zero-carbon” emissions and everything being controlled.

This is a Saudi version; a Saudi diplomat went on to explain there would be no cars, and there would be different types of transportation based on renewable energy.

That didn’t sit well with Tesla head Elon Musk.

But seriously, if pods/modules were the city of the future, does anyone think the elite like Barack Obama are going to give up their beach homes? No, this is for you, to keep you in, while they continue to do whatever they want. Saudi Arabia runs on oil. When they eliminate cars and have “zero carbon,” exactly what do they think is going to happen to them? That’s their main source of income. Or is that too logical a thought to have here?

Many people compared this vision to the old movie “Logan’s Run,” or “Judge Dredd” type of housing units.

I’m thinking that’s not going to go over very well.

The Scary WEF 'City of the Future': "You will own nothing. And you will be happy. Meat will be a special treat." No responsibility, No purpose. You’ll live in modules, completely enclosed, so they could keep you in, if they wanted to. Everything within 5 minutes’ walk & no cars.

"Zero carbon" is the "organic" of energy. It's to sell you something that may or may not be better depending who you ask, but certainly few times more expensive than the normal thing, and you're supposed to care (the guy selling it cares about the part where it's few times more expensive, it makes him smile).
The idea of housing more people into overcrowded slums works on the same principle, it does benefit those who run the slums, and we all know what political option this always is.

As for the Saudis, they don't mind much if some hipster westerners buy less of their oil, India, China and company will gladly buy it and they can't afford stupid hipster ideas even if they were allowed to.
