Because if so, we get Earth from the 1910’s counter invading via German East Africa. Which would probably be a bit closer of a fight, delay or butterfly away WW1. And probably have a better story thanks to the Terran characters not being made to pander to otakus.

I don’t remember the last movie I watched the last show was some anime about some woman coming back from death 7 times I forgot what it is but she redoes her life in a different way each time.
Last game is either South Park stick of truth or Metal gear since I am the laying metal gear right now.
Metal gear would be pretty crazy with another modern world only more high tech with giant robots AI super soldiers, crazy stuff.

Doesn’t that depend on what age it opens up in or the campaign? After all the Greek campaign deals with Stone Age to classical, the English from medieval to the napoleonic era, Germany is ww1 and ww2. Only the Russia campaign is from modern day to future.
