I mean, it's kind of entertaining, but just as an example, in this thread he has you all arguing about Alex Jones and Tucker Carlton in a thread about the Jan 6 business. Why let him lead you about this way instead of just ignoring this guy? He's an NPC - he's just going to keep repeating the same lines no matter what you say to him.
Since the staff won't ban sign up trolls over free speech concerns it falls on the user base to basically humiliate those users and brow beat them until they leave the forum of their own volition.
Its a preferable position given the criteria for what behavior constitutes the conduct of a sign up troll can be subjective. A lot more fun to do as well.
It's more a thing anime boards do though.
