The countries problems as of now are actually solvable if people sat down and had honest conversations with back and forth and compromises. The problem is our political class has pretty much gone full cult and are drinking their own koolaid. Their going to keep starting shit because they fundamentally do not respect their political oponates and this by nature leads to politics of revenge.

And no we cant stop it, the only people who can stop it is the left and the poltical establishment, and their so far up their own ass that its impossible to reason with them.

I used to put a lot of value on compromise, but the last few years I have seen that you're very much correct here.

Compromise for the right ends up being "give the left a little bit of what they want and get nothing in return so they aren't mean to us."

Then they attack the right the same way anyways...until the right "compromises" again.

It's just a constant slow slide leftwards.

Until the left actually demonstrates that they can be trusted to hold up their end in compromises, we should not try compromising. We need to kick out the people who think they can compromise with the left.

Prosecutors don't like forcing kids to testify against their parents because unless said parent does something truly heinous no, because juries tend to look upon that with revulsion and it can become a Coin toss where they choose to focus that revulsion.

Its also why family court Judges are kinda seen as scumbags by other Judges. And a prosecutor who does this can often risk being seeing as little better than a thug in a cheap suit.

the left would realistically have to spend years giving up a whole lot to make up for decades of bad faith. But they and the establishment want empire. Fine but if you want empire you have to compensate the people who make it possible and you have to show them actual respect, its a give and take thing and they took way too much.

People are starting to yeet them off school boards and more and more are home schooling. So that is one way to address that problem and effectively albeit on a smaller scale.

Personally I think we should just disband the department of education and restore that power to the local cities and states.
