A lot of people can have a history of it but not use it when they get out

Given how much of racist pricks the British were (and still are)? I'm not surprised.

What the actual fuck? Get outta here cunt. What is wrong with you?

Maybe Wellington was still pissed that when Blucher ordered the march to Waterloo his chief of staff Gneisnau deliberately sabotaged the order of march. The Prussians had a corps that could have been there in a couple of hours but Gneisnau ordered them to stop and instead sent his furthest troops in as the first unit.
Instead of arriving at lunch time they didn't arrive until several hours later costing Wellington the largest loss of British lives in battle up to that point. Gneiisnau didn't expect Wellington to fight and didn't want to send Germans into a pointless battle, his prejudice was wrong as is yours.

I remember reading Johnny Cash was a codebreaker when he was drafted intercepting Soviet comms

Historically, much of Britain was racist pricks who were a-ok with all sorts of genocide, either implicitly or explicitly. Reading how the Brits treated everyone not British (including but not limited to: Scots, Irish, Indians, and various African tribes) is an eye-opener. While they did some good, they did a lot of horrible shit too. Let alone the fact that they carried out a massive divide and conquer campaign on Europe just so they can stay on top (with all the racism that entails).

Add Elvis Presley to that list, as he was in the 3rd Armored during his draft stint. Hell, he had a movie that he stared in about his time in Germany (GI Blues).

That is revisionist twaddle applying current year American world view to historical settings. I don't recall any campaigns of genocide, indeed I'd say in that respect Britain did much better than its peers including Germany -cough Namibia- No one is saintly but Britain wasn't motivated by some religious fanatacism or nationalist zeal. Mostly wealth.
You said it was still so, and that is why I take it personally. My ancestors were Irish so I know how it goes, I also know how much people enjoy exaggerating.
Britain was a mercantile Empire, it didn't want to kill or displace people or enslave them, it wanted to trade with them and take their money that way.

British policy in Europe wasn't remotely racist, that's the silliest thing I've read in ages. It was cold politics no more or less than Bismarcks games of state. How can Britain be racist to France when most of the nobility had French origin and they had accepted countless refugees fleeing the Terror just a few years earlier? How can they have been racist to Germany when the royals were German? Not just a little German either, the previous two kings at that point didn't even speak English!
I'll also note a single power dominating Europe usually doesn't bring flowers and rainbows

I know you're a kaiserboo but seriously, facts not feelings man.

Wow, this is some class A Teaabo shit... seriously. What Britain had and Germany didn't was damn good PR. Especially since Britain pulled a few near-Holodomors in its time, and less said about how they treated Native Americans and Africans, the better.

It didn't have better PR, it was just better.
Anyway I'm sure you can provide a list of what you think happened and I can do the same and maybe there'll be a medal for who was less exploitative or who treated people less like cunts. If your team is 20th century Germany then I wish you the best of luck because that's going to be a struggle.

Or I can just acknowledge we tried this before at least twice and the fact you keep repeating the same bollocks despite getting facts provided for you to examine means I am wasting my time and you'd rather hate something than know something.
Not an uncommon circumstance, but surely not one to celebrate or champion.

I am Irish Catholic knobhead, I live in England, my folks are Catholic NI and Mayo so don't imagine I am unaware of things that caused all that. I didn't say Britain is saintly, no one is, but the fact I am Irish Catholic in England and not dead or nonexistent because of some genocide also tells me plenty

The guy said all Brits are racist pricks, not just then but now. If he had said all Americans were racist pricks or all Canadians were it would be just as dumb and just as worthy of getting called out. But he didn't attack your people he went for mine, so I defended the honour of my home.
If that isn't the right thing to do then to hell with it. No one else is going to stand for it.

The UK has indeed a very good PR department. For centuries they sell the story that they are the good guys and all their adversaries the bad ones.
The reality is a bit different.
Quite a bit, I mean the British Admiralty came out clean a few years back that the Lusitania was illegally carrying war goods and engineered the events so it would be sunk to bring the US into the war... then there was the brutality of the reprisals that the British utilized during the Sepoy Rebellion...

... I mean when the Scottish Parlement reconvened after its disbandment centuries ago, the first statement was essentially calling the English out for being grade-A assholes, and there is one of their near-Holodomors in the Irish Famine, and let's not forget what they did to the Indians and the near Holodomor the British nearly gotten away with...

... and yes, the British were particularly brutal during the Indian Sepoy Rebellion (aka the First War of Independence for India).

Oh, and there is the fact that you Brits created concentration camps during the Boer Wars...

Harlock

I should have expected that really
Concentration camps were invented by a German and first used by the Spanish in Cuba. And America in the Phillipines. Also a big difference between a concentration camp and a death camp or labour camp.

At least get these easily researched facts right.

Are you even going to apologise for calling me a racist prick or are you sticking with that? Because thats what I particularly am pissed about

Everything I had pointed to the British being the inventors of concentration camps...

I was saying the British/English in general, not you specifically.

I am the British English in general, thats what in general means :p That they are traits shared by everyone in that category

Just wiki concentration camp, its the simplest research you can do.

The term originated in the reconcentrados (reconcentration camps) set up by the Spanish military set up in Cuba during the Ten Years' War.

The Ten Years' War (Spanish: Guerra de los Diez Años; 1868–1878)

I worded that wrong... I meant historical English. Sorry about that. I keep forgetting to add the historical bit.

Then I'll apologise for calling you bad things in response, and we can go back to being civilised.

Also on topic there was a paddle wheel aircraft carrier. It was nifty.

It happens, I sometimes screw up when it comes to stating what I was thinking, leaving out key details...
