Yeah but Tyrion actually makes mistakes and is likable.Don't forget that Tyrion too is a George Martin SI. But then again, Tolkien is guilty of that too: he wrote the entire "Beren and Luthien" story simply because he loved his wife so much; and of course, the entire race of Hobbits are literally JRR Tolkien's self-insert.
