Breaking News Henry Kissinger is dead at 100

Allende was well on the way to turning chilie into yet another fucking case of 'that wasn't real socialism' when he got couped that man and his allies firmly deserved their fate as we see in venusuala and Pincochete as time goes on will probally be remembered foundly by history because of all of the counter examples showing up.
True.He killed 3000,saved country,and helped their economy.
If Allende win,we would have another Cuba there now.

Kissinger also served in the US Army during World War II.

His story is actually pretty remarkable. He was drafted into the army as a truck driver in the final year of the War and by the end of the War was establishing civil administrations in occupied Germany and leading a team tracking down Nazis and Gestapo agents. He definitely rose to prominence based on merit initially because he came from pretty humble beginnings.

Despite my staunch personal disagreement against Detente Policy with PRC & Soviet Union of the Nixon & Ford administrations including Kissinger's accomplishments in this effort, I believe it was SMOOTH GENIUS at the time.

... Kissinger is Machiavellian, to be sure. Not a complete Machiavellian (few people can even achieve that because most politicians tend to be incredibly short-sighted, not balancing both the short and long term nor diving into history to build better policy), but better than most.

The reason I'm happy Kissinger is dead can be summed up in two words: Khmer Rouge. He is the reason we backed by far the worst of the two communist nations against one that wasn't nearly as bad. The US would rather support those bashing baby heads against trees than support communist Vietnam (which also was anti China). When Vietnam invaded (and boy were they provoked, it was basically a October 7 massacre from the Khmer Rouge IIRC maybe minus rapes), they stopped the mass murders. The world was a better place after the war than before it, and that's vanishingly rare.

I was reading online how one person was like "You hate Kissinger for supporting Israel. I hate Kissinger for abandoning Rhodesia. We are not the same."

 :ROFLMAO:

The ghoulish reactions are so hilarious sometimes ngl.

That’s George Soros if I am not mistaken.

And yes I know I’m probably explaining the joke.

Wait... George Soros died too?

Did they kill each other?

I may have to revise my opinion of Kissinger. Good Jews Have to Rise Up and Fight Bad Jews after all. Can't always depend on us Gentiles cleaning house.

No wait a minute... lemme rephrase that.

Breathtakingly poor choice of words there, my good man.
No, it's accurate. It's good to celibrate when an evil man dies. You know that although human justice has failed, at least Father Time will eventually bring a small measure of justice. It's grim approval of a job done, not vindictive, mindless celebrating.

He did evil. There is no justification for what he did with helping the Khmer Rouge, a group of thugs that were so vile, to show their evil requires ossuaries open to the public so we never forget.

No, no. But how I wish…

I meant that the picture of the old man in the tweet wasn’t an older Kissinger but George Soros.

Rest in Peace.

Like him or not, today marks the passing of a political titan.
He saved China from soviets, and later helped Khmers.Second was "only" helping genociders, but first...thanks to him soviets fall 10 years later then they should, and we face war with China now.

He was no titan, but fool.Even average worker is smart enough to knew, that helping weaker monster in fight is not always good thing.

The open joy at his death is all the more ridiculous by its obsession with trivial matters.

Kissinger's legacy, whether you want to argue that it was for good or ill, should be defined by his decisions in regards to China and the Soviets. Whether you think it should have been done or not, the opening up of China and detente is a thousand times more important to the world as opposed to whatever the fuck happened in shitholes like Chile and Cambodia.
The open joy is that he was a genuine bastard.
Not even a magnificent bastard, a genuine bastard, co-responsable of one too many things, like the borderline genocidal occupation of East Timor.
If I ever will have the chance, I will gladly piss on that demonic cosmopolitan sellout and pimp grave.
The only excrement place are the brothels where he sat foot and corrupted.
