I don't know where you live but in the EU they are trying everything they can to stop populist parties. Not to mention they eat their own now since Fico in Slovakia has been rebranded far right. AFD is risking to be banned in the near future for the flimsiet of reasons. That will change when more leftist parties or politicians gain power. Israel should be ready in advance, for once.
It's not going to end well regardless. It's going to end with the annihilation of Gaza, but you might as well been giving a PR gift to Hamas for the next generation. Or two.Siege and starvation are effective ways of crushing a hostile insurgency.
Hamas says they will attack US bases/embassies in the region if Biden intervenes/aids Israel.
Edit: DC is looking at some people in the DoD and State Dept for having aided Tehran or taken orders from them.
Edit 2: Hamas openly saying they will kill hostages in retaliation for airstrikes.
I think Israel is unlikely to get any hostages back alive that aren't rescued by SF teams, and even then Hamas is likley going to kill most hostages rather than let them go, as Israel has said there will be no more talking with Hamas.
And here we see that Russia is openly happy about this because US is a Israeli ally, while they support Iran.
Dude hasn't been here since Saturday @Free-Stater 101 either he has bigger fish to fry (rightfully so, regardless of my opinions if I was under siege, the last thing I would do is post on the Sietch) or worst case scenario...well I don't have to spell it out.So, @GoldRanger sorry to interrupt or bother you I know it may be annoying that I ask for you to speak about something involving your home country but given you're the only person I know on the site with his boots on the ground in Israel could you mention the general attitude involving the attack? Also, what is your current situation> I just want to make sure you are safe.
Backup Link on the much shared and publicized Wall Street Journal article stating that Senior Hamas and Hezbollah officials have stated Iran helped them plan this operation back in August and gave their go ahead for the operation to be executed only days ago during a meeting in Beirut.
Ok, Hezbollah makes sense. What doesn't make sense is the IRI helping a Sunni organization when they are explicitly Shia and I don't see a Paki-Naxalite style alliance between the two, it is more likely either Qatar, Saudi or others.
It sounds like a claim that was made for Iraq's invasion : that Saddam was an ally of Al-Qaeda. Not to mention how many times WSJ has been caught up lying? Didn't they lie also about the coof and other stuff?
Isn't he a reservist?Dude hasn't been here since Saturday @Free-Stater 101 either he has bigger fish to fry (rightfully so, regardless of my opinions if I was under siege, the last thing I would do is post on the Sietch) or worst case scenario...well I don't have to spell it out.
Even though I disagreed with him on a couple of times, I do not wish any harm on him or any civilians' life, be it Israeli or Palestinian, especially the kids who have to pay the consequences of idiotic adults.
I joined MUCH later than him so you probably know more than I do.Isn't he a reservist?
That would be a reason for him to not post for some time.
Fuck that.…Greater Israeli Empire time?
I’m down for it.
Assuming they make the mistake again of not fully committing to destroying the Palestinians' will to fight. It's not going to end well regardless. It's going to end with the annihilation of Gaza, but you might as well been giving a PR gift to Hamas for the next generation. Or two.
They didn't make it though; we did by forcing them to give the Palestinians a home, and to back off whenever they attacked.Fuck that.
You want to handle the refugees ? I don't. Israel already has created enough chaos with Syria not going to take the burden of their response to Hamas lightining guerrilla war.
Unless they plan to end it all and we might have a different set of problems.
Gaza is Israel's not Europe's problem. Or the world. They made the bed and the might sleep with it now.
They didn't make it though; we did by forcing them to give the Palestinians a home, and to back off whenever they attacked.

The US publicly stated they had no evidence of that level of collaboration going on at the time. Hamas also publicly stated that it planned the whole operation themselves only acknowledging that Iran has been "supporting" them.
Sigh. They didn't make it though; we did by forcing them to give the Palestinians a home, and to back off whenever they attacked.
Again, we forced them into that situation by not allowing them to directly confront the Palestinians. Naturally, that led them to taking a page from our book, and trying to support groups that looked like they'd fix the problem from within. That it backfired on them just as it did on us is our fault for, in the name of "peace", not allowing them any other options. How Israel Helped to Spawn Hamas - WSJ.com

Still remains their creation. Still their problem, going back to my point that I don't want an Israeli empire that are going to cause other problems...as if Europe doesn't have them to begin with thanks to our idiot past and current politicians.Again, we forced them into that situation by not allowing them to directly confront the Palestinians. From Europe's perspective Arab/Islamic empires are far worse potential problem than an Israeli one.Still remains their creation. ….Why didn’t the west set them up in Madagascar after the war?I don't think Israel wants it either Haha.
They'd probably prefer ruling Madagascar as opposed to their friendly amicable neighbors in the Levant and beyond.
