United States George Floyd Protests, Reactions and Riots

Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
You know, even I as an atheist dab on the universalist unitarians and seeing their utterly lack of principles blow back in their face is gratifying. I know I shouldn't find gratification in their house of "worship" being burnt down by those they attempted to pander to, but I am but a man, and it is hard in these times not to succumb to my own human failings. Especially, if I have been antagonized constantly. Well as the man who they purport to follow in some regard has said, "he who lives by the sword shall perish by it."
Schauenfruade is equal opportunity. Want to laugh then laugh.

Just worried that I might be encouraging my baser qualities by taking pleasure in their downfall.
they made their bed, now they burn in it

Two wrongs don’t make a right

But when you repeatedly turn the other cheek only to repeatedly receive jackhammers to the face and promises of future beatings or a constant stream of slander and libel

You can’t help but dislike them

Would you consider the driver to be in trouble crashing a car into a lamppost because he got distracted wanting to steal a political banner?

Considering there's video and the police are there, at a minimum his insurance is going to be less then happy with him.

Both. Gen Z varies GREATLY. You have the kind that are brainwashed and the kind that arnt.
Those with records are uber fucked.

I still remember those lawyers thinking it was a grand idea to fling molotov cocktails at a police car. Quickest way to ruin your life.

Even if you had to do self defense you can still get fucked like that bar owner who had to kill himself.

It’s interesting that so many of these people who have spent their lives on social media, suddenly know when to delete all their social media accounts.

It’s as if they are being taught, “when exposed make sure to close your Twitter”-because they do it too regularly when they otherwise lack any sense of prudence. They aren’t doing this on their own wisdom, but are clearly learning how from others

From my experience, having done Exactly this...

It's just that you think it'll never happen to you. You're just a face among the crowd. No one will really notice you. You'll never face real consequences.

Then one day something explodes. It gets too big, you decide you made a mistake and you want away from it.

Bam. Delete.

These people aren’t doing this because they think they made a mistake, it’s too avoid reprisal and exposure. “Oh crap, don’t want my prospective employer to see I’m an Antifa street fighter”.

It’s CYA. And blatantly so at that.

Getting exposed was the mistake.

They realized they didn't really want the attention once it starts to threaten their actual livelihood.
