Do not offend HRE.They never gave making new weapons to cargo cultists.And,territories which they covered were,at least partially,settled by german people.

That reminds me, didn't Branded Real Robot mecha aka Gundam have a bunch of Wannabe Prussians?

Also, some degree of that iconography that is Krauts/Prussia in space/with mecha is present in a lot of anime. Line the protag nation from 86 IIRC, even bits of it in stuff like Code Geass.
