Err, no? The demorats were in charge of LA during the riots and their pigs in uniform acted accordingly. Don't fall for the propaganda of the Leftoids.

The person most responsible for the L.A. riots was LAPD Police Chief Daryl Gates, who was a "tough on crime" conservative type who actively encouraged racism and abuse of power in his force. Gates strongly opposed the concept of "community policing", believing that the police should be aloof from and even hostile to the general public, especially minority communities. He was rather infamous for incendiary statements, such as the assertion that anyone who ever used illegal drugs, even casual and infrequent users, was a "traitor" who should be summarily executed without trial.

Gates was *extremely* at odds with the Democratic mayor of L.A., and part of how he completely fucked up handling the riots was that he literally cared more about showing up the mayor and scoring political points for himself than actually getting the situation under control. To the point that when the crisis erupted, Gates' response was *literally* to leave police headquarters because he had a scheduled political fundraiser to go to.

1: Tough on crime does fit with conservatism.
2: Encouraging racism and abuse of power is a hallmark of the left, not the right. Reference the history of the Democrat Party and the KKK.
3: Elitism, a separation between the 'ruling class' and the 'common masses' is also a hallmark of leftism, not the right. To be fair, the 'country club Republicans' also tend to subscribe to this. There's a reason they're being pushed out of the conservative movement.
4: Incompetence also tends to be a hallmark of the political left. Granted, it happens on the right to, but utter inability to handle anything at all competently has practically been a trademark of the political left, with a few very specific exceptions, since the beginning of the 20th century.

5: Most importantly, what political party was he part of?

The left trying to smear the right with their own past sins gets old. I know it'll never stop happening, but it really does get old.

Good community policing happens when the police actually understand the community.

The drunk homeless guy sleeping in the car he parks in the 'hood with the windows down is probably on a first name basis with at least one cop and a decent chunk of the neighbourhood. Do not mess with him.

Similarly, if a Mercedes I don't recognize shows up in my driveway I'll be wondering who it belongs to and what they're up to because my wife and daughters do not like fussy automobiles. I'm calling cops if I see that.

So after Twitter banned Jordan Peterson (de facto) permanentlly because he refuses to delete a tweet that "deadnamed" trans actor Ellen/Elliot Page, and after Dave Rubin was suspended from the platform for posting a screenshot of Jordan Peterson's now deleted Tweet... something interesting Trended on Twitter.

Apparently LinkedIn is Banning People For WrongThink as Well.

They banned Greg Wrightstone, executive director of the CO2 Coalition for posting a Graph showing rising CO2 Emissions Developed by NOAA and utilized by the IPCC.

Media Matters, the leftist media watchdog organization, did a campaign whining about use of the term 'Groomer' and pushed for it to be censored, and many Big Tech platforms seem to be in agreement.

Author and Commentator James Lindsay was suspended from Twitter "temporarily" for replying to Media Matters journalist Ari Drennan by tweeting "Ok Groomer."

They also suspended Tim Pool for posting about how Twitter is Protecting Pedophiles.

I have always maintained that the pedoshit was best lever to use against these people. You should have been accusing them of being pedos 10 years ago and organising on that basis.

They are child groomers and its wannabe kiddy diddlers all the way down.

I hope Elon is forced to buy twitter ( at discount) just so that all of the people who pull this shit get a pink slip.

I hope twitter goes the way of napster.

i.e.: it becomes an afterthought you'd have to think about and go look up just to see if it still existed.
