18-44 bracket shows that good chunk of USA is undergoing equivalent of collapse of USSR and for the elites is just fine, as they loot the country similarly to how the oligarchs looted the USSR

That... look artificial. I am ignoramus in this but how do you fucking get a change this quick?

Something feels very fucking off.

I àm not sàying it is fàlse. I sày thàt increàse looks excessively mànmàde.
The opioid crisis is man made.

Doctors were WAY over prescribing opioid medications for minor issues and often giving way more than needed.

This caused a whole fuck ton of people to be addicted to them.

Then they realized the mess they've made, and cracked down in prescriptions. Now suddenly, a bunch of addicts that they created, can no longer get the pills that they hooked them on. So they turn to the black market, and get laced drugs or cant measure doses accurately, and overdose.

This problem was created by the medical community through and through.

Which seems to be a reoccurring theme these days in the West.

the entire war on drugs was essentially Uncle Sam coming up with the "Solution" (Which has proven to be not much of one) to a problem he himself created. the thing is the government will never go after the head pushers and suppliers because they are the pushers to the people in Congress. We can ruin lives via the revolving door prison system for decades to come and nothing will change.

I have never seen an opiate before this year...
where I was prescribed it twice by two different doctors while my parents were each prescribed opiate by different doctors as well.
they gave my mother half a liter of liquid (roughly 100 doses at max strength. or more if you take lower strength)... she only needed to use less than a tenth of it.

I have heard tale of people becoming addicted from their medically prescribed opiates.

Granted, there were mostly good reasons for the prescriptions in each case (pain / surgery / etc). although they were a bit quick to go for them and gave us way too much each time.

Aside from the medical industry, we also have an unguarded border to the south which is used to smuggle in massive amount of drugs as well as drug dealers.

There's a legitimate use and benefit for opioids, for sure.

Short term high pain? Like from an injury or procedure? Absolutely use them. They do ease off the suffering substantially. You just give them for a short period to get the person through to worst of the pain.

Doctors for the most part are MUCH smarter and conservative with them these days. In fact, I'd argue they go too far in the other direction sometimes.

But the damage is done. Flooding the communities with prescription opioids and then taking them away, created the perfect situation for black markets to move in and meet the demand they created.

And this is thanks to Purdue Pharma owned by Sackler family bribing the doctors to do so. Sacklers got a sweetheart deal by authorities, to prevent victims from suing them. They shut down the old company and transferred it's assets to a new one, enjoying the fruits of the premeditated mass murder.

Shit likes this makes me want to write up a Book of Grudges.
